Disclaimer: Agar aap apni ecommerce website se apni hi state me sell kar rahe ho aur aapka turnover 40 lakh tak ka hai (Kuch States me 20 Lakhs hai), to GST registration ki zarurat nahi hai, lekin aap apna PAN based validation GST Department se zarur karwalijiye. Isme ye clearly mention kijiye ki aap sirf apni state me sell kar rahe hain aur aap kaunse products sell kar rahe hai. Ye step aapko future me kisi legal problems se bachane me madad karega. Dhyan rahe, agar aap Amazon, Flipkart, ya Meesho par sell karte hain, to aapko Regular GST ki zarurat hogi kyunki ye platforms TCS charge karte hain. Lekin apni website se apne hi state me sell karne par aap bina GST ke kaam kar sakte hain. It is advisable to get your PAN-based validation done with the GST department. Make sure to clearly mention that you are only selling within your state and specify the products you are dealing with. This step will help prevent any legal issues in the future.
