I believe the whole konosuba series is over at this point. However there is still over 11 volumes to cover from the LN

This is a spin off so it doesn't cover the remaining novels, that will be followed by the the third season that should air soon. I think there were three volumes for before she joins the party.

There's a gargoyle in the opening, so it's probably gonna cover until volume 3, and probably gonna get season 2 later after main series get season 4 like how the story in LN works

I remember while reading the LN there were several "side quest" type stories that weren't technically required reading for the main story, they just enhanced the experience. All I can remember is Komekko meeting a demon and Megumin meeting the Axis cult was in those, so I assume this whole Megumin series might be based on the side stories related to her. So far I don't think anything major has happened in this anime that wasn't in a side story, though I could be wrong. I'm not sure but I think the only way you could recognize every character in the opening is if you'd seen the illustrations from those stories. Unless they were in the mobile game, which I stopped playing, so...
