Thank you for this. I'm in awe of your ability and willingness to sum up so eloquently and fairly. My main objection to the "global warming / climate change / global boiling" "issue", is that countless eminent scientists, Professors, statesticians, physicists, geologists, - all kinds of people FAR more educated than Greta Thunberg or Al Gore etc etc, get heard far less than those people, because what they have to say ruins their story. I'll resist the temptation to write a virtual essay (for now!) but suffice it to say that I'm dismayed by the number of people I know who are utterly clueless about anything scientific - who can barely change a lightbulb without asking for my advice - yet they won't listen to any of the sources I point them to so they can dispassionately weigh up the evidence. By rights they should be PLEASED that they may be wrong in their assertion that the world is effectively becoming wrapped in a blanket (their simplistic view of an incredibly complex topic) but they act as though I'm trying to take something away from them - almost as if they gain some strange sense of comfort from the doom and gloom of it all. They clearly WANT the story to be true. I've no idea why apart from it being a political issue for some. How can people not even want to hear both sides of a story? If I'm wrong, I want to know why. But all I hear the the same old arguments and insults from people who don't know how much they don't know and simply assume I've not looked into it enough and should watch the TV more. Of course, one of the reasons they may not want to hear from other sources is because they've been painted in the worst light possible by those who do not want their side of the story told. So you can't mention Tony Heller for instance, without the usual garbage attempts to blacken his name - apparently it's a crime to have once used a pseudonym to protect his job - Does that invalidate the mass of information he's been finding for over 15 years? (largely in the form of old newspaper articles revealing just how bad things really were when CO2 levels were a lot lower, so they coudn't blame it on CO2 back then - and a myriad of other information everyone should be aware of on this topic) But he's just one of many trying to expose how much nonsense is talked on this matter. Tom Nelson is another good source of information with over 200 interviews and only one person willing to debate him so far. Anyway, I'll leave it there for now and thank you again.

Enri, your points were amazing and thank you for your input. Wholeheartedly agree. I am a Londoner who is unhappy with the state of the city, let alone the country and honestly makes me want to leave. Mr H Reviews said it best on the Lotus Eaters podcast the other day, we have lost our identity and woke/ideology has destroyed all of our culture. It makes me so sick where I am reminded I am a racist whenever I step foot on the train, thanks to our Mayor Sadiq Khan who unfortunately has just been re-elected. I can safely say that this londonmmc down below is sadly one of the few brainwashed and mislead nitwits living in this city and are giving it a bad name - you can just ignore. Thank you for standing up for us. Please come and visit.

Wokeness is not evil. its just misguided zealotry. We should not be pushing it further than it really is as this only creates further division.

Recent events after 7th October has made me think that it really is evil. Maybe majority of the woke soldiers are not but the real force behind it has malevolent intentions for the west. That's why islamists and communists are the strongest cheerleaders of this movement.

This guy is completely wrong about fixing racism lol
@gavingiant69008 ай бұрын
How is he wrong, how would you treat people or a person that behave in a certain way and how would you fix it? He's simply saying to treat people with respect, unless that respect has gone by their actions.
@londonmmc8 ай бұрын
@@gavingiant6900 he states “wokeness” will not solve racism, and that all people have to do is start treating each other based on the content of their character and it will be solved. He has only part of it right, but he’s leaving out the most important part, wokeness. Do not misinterpret the term woke, it only means when a nation or group or even individual starts to wake up to lies and historical falsifications, to reality. Unfortunately, like every important movement or trend the term has been co-opted to encompass not just that but political ideologies and certain types of people. Do not let this distract you from the important purpose of wokeness. We will never be able to treat people only based on the content of their character when our schools, the educational systems that mold our minds, and many institutions especially in the fields of academia and science are inherently racist. We will never treat black people like equals when subconsciously we believe them to be below us. When we teach lies about their history. If we teach everyone in the world that black people had no contribution to human history, that they were running around in the jungle until the western man enslaved and civilized them, we will always feel this way. We need a complete upheaval of our school curriculum worldwide, and that requires wokeness like it or not. Because without it, we will continue to teach the lie that is the current status quo. We need to start teaching all kids the truth, so they can grow up respecting each other and themselves. We need to return Egypt to Africa and stop the lie. It was a black civilization, and created the world’s first calendar, mathematics, science, medicine, astronomy. The United Nations officially conceded that Egypt was a black African civilization in the 70s but this is never taught. We continue to whitewash black history (which is world history because we all come from Africans) even though the evidence is there and it has been admitted. We still illustrate them as white or west Asian in textbooks and at the highest levels of education even though the mummies, statues, iconography and language are clearly black African. Wokeness is important because without reeducation contrary to the one we received which comes out of a racist Eurocentric lens that permeates to how we perceive everything we will continue to only speak of bohemian ideals like treating people equally. We cannot treat one another equally if we are not actually treating one another equally. You can’t say that and then continue to teach kids a racist tale of African history that removes their dignity in their own eyes and the eyes of others. Nor can you get mad at the people who espouse the ideals of the system they’ve been taught. This guys statement is exactly what let’s wrong. He thinks wokeness is the issue because he doesn’t know the extent to which he’s been lied to, as most don’t. Do you know who Kekrops is? If not I suggest you look into more of your history as I did. I promise you’ll change your opinion

@@gavingiant6900 for instance, they won’t teach CRT in schools and their has been a massive backlash, even though it actually has never been included in curriculum. However, there is no outcry from those same people to go back and teach the history they were taught in schools the right way. The brainwashing is too deep for it to be as easy as treating people right. You need education. Truth.

@@IIChristisKingII this is what I mean. I’ve just paraphrased centuries of human history that prevents us as an entire species from moving forward and you’d rather be condescending and dismissive of it than have an actual productive conversation with someone who shares a different viewpoint.
