My reaction to The Conquest of Constantinople by The Ottoman Empire in 1453. Constantinople (known as Istanbul today) was seen as the capital of the world for many centuries. It was revered for its successes in the arts, economically, as held a strategical position geographically on both land and by sea.
Sultan Mehmed II was keen on conquering the city and was driven by the words of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) from hadith. Through using unconventional tactics, and great breakthroughs in arms engineering the Sultan achieved the dream that those before him were unable to do over the previous centuries.
Istanbul today is a city which even after nearly 600 years, it echoes with the history of centuries gone by…

I love the proud and glorious history of Ottoman beginning from Ertuğrul Gazi to Vahidüddin Han as a whole. The rest after the collapse was only opression and servantry to imperial forces solely complied and so agreed by the treachorous internal cryptoes that has only brought us corruption and degeneration especially after 1920s with the abolishment of caliphate and the introduction of anti-islamic revolutions enforced by laws? no! lawlessness by a ruthless dictator.

Great conqueror, won battles but why called Sultan not Shehenshah? Ottaman Empire as the size was a cording to map. All ok but after the seige the common people suffered a lot for couple of days as per text vandalizing, mass killing, torturing innocent was not fair he could have stopped. However he played a great role in Ottoman Empires progress.
