Growing up on this we didn't even know such footage even existed. We had to be content with looking at the album sleeves and pictures of Doro in Metal Hammer or Kerrang. I never got to see them live until 2006. I still love this woman, she's still a true metal Goddess. Burning the witches is still my favourite Warlock track.

Warlock was one of the first few bands i ever listened to as a kid. This band go me into metal a long with a band called omen. then progressed from there i always hold a special place in my heart for warlock. This band has not faded with the year as matter of fact they sound even better now then they did back then. Doro is an absolute beast.

When I was released from the Bundeswehr I went with a buddy (also then released) to a pub in the Old Town of Düsseldorf called Papidoux. Doro was there, enjoying a few drinks with some friends. Since my buddy was the drummer of thrash metal band back then called Assassin and knew her personally we ended up partying with her the whole night through. I had never heard of her before that and found her not only very attractive but also a very funny and kind-hearted person.

I spent a number of years in Germany as a soldier in the 80's. Warlock would open for all the big metal tours in Europe in those days. I saw them open Monsters of Rock 86, open for Dio, and open Judas Priest. They were an awesome live band.

I´ve been at the warm up gig for the Hellbound-Tour in 1985 at a small club in Bobenheim-Roxheim (little village in South-West-Germany). It was absolute awesome. The first ten rows really freaked out. She was more sexy and wild on stage than Debbie Mills from the Pinheads. Too bad that Doro left Warlock after the "True as steel" Album. She really could have become a Metal Goddess....

80's was the bigger expression of HM and Hard Rock , I'm from 1977 and a LOT of my child memories have a "soundtrack" from KISS, Scorpions , Helloween, Warlock, WASP, GNR , Skid Row ,Van Halen , Maiden....it was really the best Rock/Metal age. The bad part is that now I can hardly listen to most of the "new metal bands" or gothics or "double drum everywhere" or whatever they want to call themselves :(
