김건우 샘 수년전 프랑스 가시기전 작은 교회지만 soloist 로 오셔서 섬기실때 정말 겸손하시고 하나님을 경외하는 분임을 느꼈습니다. 그떄 잠깐이나마 옆에서 뵐수 있어서 영광이었습니다. 더욱 큰 명성을 날리시고 이나라를 빛내주시길.... 저는 성악은 잘 모르지만 모든 노래를 너무 쉽고 편하게 하시어 오히려 스릴이 감해지는 단점아니 단점이 있기에 엄청난 에너지와 감정표현으로 cover 하고 계시는 것처럼 보입니다. 너무 멋지십니다.

@@operadog2000 yeah his voice flatlined quickly. I saw him in le comte ory in 2013 and he was still st his peak. But recordings I heard of him after that point, you could really hear the high stuff becoming less easy for him. At some point he released an album of spinto arias, which demonstrated that he was at least somewhat self aware of his voice changing. Former professor of mine had very strong opinions on jdf. He swore up and down that he relied on vocal damping for his high notes and that would reduce his longevity as a leggero

Nice looking kid. Moves well on stage. Brilliant voice. But I'm no longer surprised by the quality of Korean tenors. There are so many. The secret is that East Asian men have higher natural voices than Caucasians just as African- American actors have lowered pitched voices (James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman, and Dennis Haysbert). So while many European and American tenors sing High C's in the studios for recordings, few do so live. Domingo , the conductor, probably never sang a High C on stage in his whole long career. Asian tenors sing the high notes so much more easily. Who'd a thunk it?

There's nothing "obvious" or "scientific" about your claim. You'd need a legitimate scientific study with representative samples across the populations you named, measuring something like lowest producible pitch or vocal fold length. A simple count would not suffice, because the current sample available to be counted is not representative. The overwhelming majority of notable deep basses are White, but that doesn't tell us anything, since opera has always been White-dominated in every voice type. Ivar Andresen, Juste Nivette, Kurt Moll, Gottlob Frick, Robert Radford, Juste Nivette, Boris Shtokolov, Paul Payan, Jean Vallier, Oscar Natzka--All White (and here I'm just naming some particularly deep ones that come to mind). How many true world-class Black bassi profondi have ever sung on an opera stage? 0. Ever. See how counting doesn't work? How about popular music? Is Sam Cooke deeper than Rex Allen? Jackie Wilson vs. Tennessee Ernie Ford? Will Smith vs. Sam Elliott? There are East Asians, Blacks (West Africans), and Whites with all kinds of voices. I've met them and listened to recordings of them. If there's a mean difference in vocal pitch, it isn't obvious enough to suggest itself nakedly. It would need to be appropriately studied.

It is not supported by observation or any science. Black people are different from Asians and Caucasians in many, many attributes. Medicine provides many examples. I, as you probably know, sing bass. I'm in fact a low bass. I used to study voice in a black vocal studio. My first professional singing fee earned was singing Negro Spirituals. I've known many black singers. When I had my own business I had black bass-baritone working for me. The roles we did overlapped. He was on the whole a better singer than me. Trust me. I know more and more about black singers than you do. You are just reacting reflexively to the issue of race. You're the bigot - blind to the obvious - reacting to one of the leftist 'dog whistle' issues. You are threatened by reality and propose a series of goofy objections.

무대에서 걍 노래만 깨끗하게 클리어하는게 목적이고 얼굴 표정, 연극적 요소에는 별 임팩트없는 김우경이나 강요셉보다 낫지. 연극하는 동료에게 위 두 사람과 김건우를 듣게 했다. 누가 오페라하면 돈 주고 가겠냐고? 이제 답은 나왔다. 그저 노래만 평가하는 자들이 또 엄청 댓글 달겠네. 오페라도 극인데 강씨와 한양대 교수의 노래는 들어줄 만한데 무대위에서 연기하는거 솔직히 엉성하다.

김범석 김건우씨의 무대 정말 뜨겁고 감동적입니다. 하지만 님께서 노래잘한다고 잘하는 것이아니라 연극인 오페라에서 연기를 잘해야한다라고 말씀하셨듯이 오페라에서 중요한것 또한 노래입니다. 솔직히 오페라는 노래를 듣기위해 가는것이죠. 오페라가 끝나고 박수갈채를 많이 받는사람은 연기를 잘한사람이 아닌 노래를 잘한 사람입니다. 그들은 가수이지 배우가 아닙니다... 물론 극이기 때문에 연기력또한 필요하지만 연기력이 부족하다고 더 노래를 잘하는 사람을 비하하는것은 말도 안돼죠ㅎㅎ 그리고 또한가지, 사람마다 느끼는 감정이 다 다르고 표현하는 것도 다릅니다. 같은 연기를해도 누구는 오열을 하는반면, 누구는 조용히 깊은 슬픔에 빠지듯이 표현이 다양 할수 있는 것입니다. 또한 김교수님이나 강선생님깨서 노래를 더 깔끔하고 잘 부를수 있는 이유는 그만큼 노래에 대해 연구하고, 섬세하게 감정으로 표현하기 때문입니다. 님 말대로 김건우씨가 이곡을 연주할때 정말로 감동적이고 마음에 와닿지만 솔직히 발성적인 부분때문인지 태크닉적인 부분에선 개인적으로 아쉬운 부분이 많습니다. 듣다가 집중이 깨질 정도이죠. 제가 드리고 싶은 말씀은 저들은 가수이고, 가수는 노래하는 사람이지 actor가 아닙니다... 파바로티는 완벽에 가까운 노래실력을 가졌지만 연기부분에서는 많이 부족했습니다. 님의 말대로라면 파바로티는 훌륭한 가수가 아니겠군요?? 제발 그들이 누구인지... 아시기 바랍니다... 연기도 중요하지만 진짜 중요한게 무엇인지요. 애초에 연기자한테 물어본것자체가 연기만 평가하는 거지요. 가수한테 연기못해서 좋은가수가 아니라는게 말이됩니까??? 제발....
