What a gorgeous area. The estate and winery are so pretty, but I'm like Héléne, I'd be in heaven right there among all those glorious grapes. Thanks Steve , you should try it unless you don’t drink wine 🤪 We did quite a few , in France in 2006 , in Okanagan valley in British Columbia in 2016 and in 2018 here but I also remember being here but don’t remember what year and that’s beside the one in Quebec. We don’t drink much …Hélène almost never and I maybe 30 bottles a year 😝 We love to walk and touch the grapes 🍇 in the vineyards…nature is amazing! Good morning Don Thanks for watching this lovely winery 🍇🍷 We also have many wineries in Quebec even with the cold temperatures we have here so I imagine that with the temperatures you have in England there should be no problems to grow vines 🍇 .On another road trip we also visited some wineries in the Okanagan valley in British Columbia which is so beautiful and the wine 🍷 is amazing! Hélène and I love to be in the vineyards touching the grapes …we also did this in France in 2006 . In Quebec we visited Carpinteri kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6uwnXeArLN-f9E which is own by a Italian and is very popular, you can sleep and eat there with open bar for the wine 🍷🤪 the only problem is that you need to book w years in advance if you want to go . Hi Helene and Serge! Wonderful visit to the winery and tasting rooms! Beautiful location along the water, with a great view. The fields and rows of grape vines were my favorite part. Very tidy and the grapes were so full and big! It's great that they let you walk along the rows and get such close-up views. They've put in a few vineyards near us, but there are many more in eastern Washington. I think you visited at just the right time of the season! :) 👍👍

Thanks for watching my friend …we have vineyards everywhere in Canada , even in Quebec with our cold winters , we have Ice Wines which are delicious and very expensive also ( half a bottle can cost close to $100 ) There’s vineyards in New-Brunswick ,Nova Scotia, Ontario , Alberta and British Columbia…maybe some in Manitoba and Saskatchewan but In don’t know them ? Oui un beau vignoble et Hélène et moi adorons être près des vignes …il y avait une enseigne disant de ne pas approcher des vignes mais nous sommes aller quand même 🤪 Pui la Sony est fantastic pour le zoom …as-tu eu la tienne ??? Toronto à 48 kilomètres, tu as un incroyable zoom 🤩Ah Hélène se souvient des vignobles en France 🇫🇷 , les vignes c’est la même chose, mais les décors et paysages sont bien différents. Le in, c’est quasi quotidien chez nous. Mais il ne faut pas abuser, l’alcool nuit à la santé en cas d’abus. Mais un verre de vin rouge, c’est bon pour le cœur disent les médecins…. alors , santé 🍷 mon chum 🫡👍🇧🇪 Nos condoléances à Hélène 😢

Merci encore Luc ! La Sony FDR-AX53 m’impressionne depuis le premier jour que je l’ai acheté, c’est un superbe caméscope! Effectivement ici ils manquent les châteaux et l’histoire derrière eux ! Je ne bois pas beaucoup de vin 🍷 mais j’ai toujours une bonne réserve dans mon cellier au sous-sol, je fait du vin depuis plus de 25 ans mais avec des concentrés édition limitée. Je bois peut-être une à 2 bouteille par mois . On a adoré notre voyage en France en 2006 . Sachant ce que je sais aujourd’hui sur mon ancêtre Guy Cousineau …son fils Jean-Batiste partie de La Rochelle à 14 ans vers 1676, je serais sûrement passé dans ce coin , mais peut-être que nous y retournerons un jour ??? Bonjour Hélène et Serge nous venons de rentrer il y a 30 minutes il est actuellement 19h03 à Bryce canyon le temps est superbe mais frais peut être aurait il fallu boire le vin de Ces magnifique vigneS pour nous réchauffer !!!🍇🍇les grappes de raisin sont superbes , mais ton zoom de Toronto est impressionnant comme je te le dis souvent tu as vraiment l'œil pour saisir une image et la rendre magnifique . Oui Niagara on the Lake est magnifique pour ses vignobles et aussi sont village historique. Je dis souvent que je viens de Hawkesbury ( les gens ne connaissent pas Chute-à-Blondeau lol) mais en fait j'ai justement grandi à Chute-à-Blondeau, j'habitais sur la concession 1 en campagne, juste à côté du parc Voyageur ou j'ai travaillé comme interprète de la nature pendant 4 étés! 😁 C'est fou combien le monde est petit! De plus, il ne serait pas impossible que nous ayons des liens de parenté puisque ma grand-mère paternelle (aussi de Chute-à-Blondeau et qui a ensuite habité à St-Eugène) s'appelait Constance Cousineau (mariée à Francis Kennedy)! 😁 J'ai gardé mon nom de fille Kennedy. Mes parents sont enterré en arrière de l’église à Chutes à Blondeau ( Paroisse St-Joachim ) Il y a d’autres Cousineau enterré à ce cimetière , mes oncles et tantes sont presque toutes là. Je ne crois pas avoir une Constance dans la famille , je sais qu’il y avait d’autre Cousineau dans le village . Une cousine à mon père y vit encore Janine Cousineau , je lui ai rendu visite en 2021 elle est très connu dans le village et demeure pas très loin à l’est de l’église . Moi je suis parti de Chutes à Blondeau en 1957 ( environ ) à l’âge de 2 ans pour Montréal. Le monde est petit en effet ! La ferme de mon père était du côté de la rivière et celle de ma tante Yvonne aussi ( ma marraine et sœur de mon père). Mon père avait hérité de la terre de son père Dolphus vers 1945 je crois et lui de son père Delphus …il y avait aussi une érablière sur la terre . Drôle que tu ai travaillé au parc et demeuré à Chutes à Blondeau. Ta grand-mère est-elle enterré à Chutes à Blondeau ? Il me fera plaisir de savoir que tu regardes nos vidéos En effet quel belle rencontre avec toi Krystèle 🥰😉👍 Serge

Je ne me souviens plus si ma grand-mère est enterrée à Chute-à-Blondeau ou à Hawkesbury car elle est décédée quand j'avais 9 ans (j'en ai maintenant 39 haha!) mais je sais que mon grand-père (son mari) est enterré à Hawkesbury donc je crois qu'ils y sont peut-être ensemble! Ils étaient à St-Eugène pour le reste de leur vie (d'anciens fermiers). Je vais regarder quand j'irai au cimetière St Alphonse à Hawkesbury ou je vais me recueillir sur la tombe de ma mère qui est enterrée là. Je ne suis pas retournée à Chute-à-Blondeau depuis le décès de ma mère en 2010. Je pense que les Cousineau sont nombreux à Chute-à-Blondeau et aussi à Hawkesbury, il me semble avoir connu des Cousineau à l'école Saint-Joachim mais ça remonte à il y a si longtemps, haha! Maintenant j'habite Ottawa (Orléans) mais j'ai encore de la famille proche à Vankleek Hill. Merci beaucoup pour l'abonnement à ma chaine, c'est gentil. Ma mère était chanteuse (elle chantait dans les pubs et restos dans les années 80 à Hawkesbury et à Grenville aussi) et donc la passion pour la musique est restée dans la famille. Helene seemed to really enjoy her walk amidst the vines. I hope she had opportunity to taste. That estate looked so huge. We enjoy wines but are not experts. We like to try local wines where possible especially after a day walking through the Vignobles or Weinguts of Europe. Canadian wine is not something we find in our shops. I will have to look out for it to try. I hope you are both well and enjoying spring.

Hello Robert & Ivor Thanks so much for coming over and commenting 👩‍❤️‍👨it’s well appreciated! Hélène and I love to walk against the vines but we don’t take any raisins in the grapes by respect . There was a sign saying " Do not enter in the field " 🥴 but there was nobody around us so we went in but not far . Hélène hardly drink’s wine’s…often just a inch in a glass satisfies her , I drink more sometimes… half a bottle 🤪 I am not a expert also but love a glass once in a while . We love to do some tasting in wineries when we can and I always buy a few bottles. We did visit a few wineries when we did our road trip in France and also did some in the Okanagan valley in British Columbia. Do you have Canadian wines in UK ? We do have great wines in Quebec , Ontario and in British Colombia…probably in other provinces also but I don’t know . I am a bit late looking at your videos but will eventually catch-up… I was wondering if you had read me in your video "Fountains Abbey" I taught maybe KZbin didn’t notify you? We see you have a new king 🤴 it was quite impressive to see a part of the ceremony 🤩 Hélène lost her mother on the 16 of April she was 96 going on 97 in august, next Saturday will be the funeral. We were with her the last week of her life many hours per day . Hélène is doing fine with her knee, she does her exercises twice a day and now she walks without nothing to help her ans goes up the stairs and down very well…we are very happy about it ! 👩‍❤️‍👨 We have great temperatures for this time of the year …28 Celsius yesterday 🤪 we’re going on the good side !
