I’m my case I use a lot of players with higher contact instead of power only because I’m not the best at timing my pci and it is easier to hit but also I get perfect perfect hits and they hit off the wall but it’s still a triple or double most time but with the home run derby players you can use either or and still hit homers with them so I’m not sure if power makes a huge difference or not

Power is not as big a deal as your making it. Yes obviously someone with not power will get that long ball instead of warning track power. But you still need speed and defense and contact guys usually have that. Also it’s always good to get that bloop base hit here and there

You're making a big deal out of power. Considering most of us play on either on HOF and All Star. Getting on base is a lot more important. I thought that power was most important because I was hitting more HRs. But I realized, i lost more. I was hitting .400 with two contact hitters and the opponent had trouble pitching. You missed every pitch with Alomar, you can't say he's bad. It's the mindset of the people. You don't want to use Alomar because you have all the best players in the game. Most people don't. Sure, Alomar is too expensive. People underrate many speedsters. When they get on, pitching gets so difficult specially with low control guys. When defenders like Chipper, Babe makes mistakes, it's usually a home run on next at bat.
