one of my skateboard mag subscriptions came with a sampler cd that had 'i'm destructive' on it, i think even before the album had been released; literally everything else was all metal and punk on the cd and that's all i really associated with the scene at the time. i was hooked and picked up doctor octagonacologyst weeks later, probably first rap album i ever bought too.
