I use to think this song was from my time because when I was a kid, this use to be played at all the school dances! At my job, I work with people all in their 40s and late 50s. I'm in my late 20s .When I was jamming out at work they started laughing at me saying jokes like I'm to young and what I know about that lol. I didn't know this came out around the the 70s , 80s era. You got to love the classics man.🙏😎

@alexmala64834 жыл бұрын
@@solidtron1965 It depends what you want. Try a yt search for 'disco 70s'. But if you'd like to try some other styles, try Vangelis, 'Simon and Garfunkel', Smokey, Dr Hook, 'Emerson, Lake and Palmer', for a start. You could also try some French, Italian, Greek and Spanish music from the 70s. And if you'd like something different yet again, try 'Rodrigo y Gabriela', try some Spanish classical guitar, some waltzes and marches, some Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms. There's no shortage of great music but it's not promoted. Have fun. 🙂

Dude, I just realized that this song is from the 1981 album "something special", by Kool & The Gang. Therefore, she is forty years old, FORTY YEARS OLD. She is older than most people who comment on KZbin videos. Despite this, she is still hugely successful at parties and clubs. After all this time, It still makes people want to get up, and dance, and have fun. Even today's kids, who didn't enjoy it, and weren't even alive, during the eighties like it. If this is not a masterpiece, then I don't really know what a masterpiece is.

@iuribuscacio663 жыл бұрын
@@willritter4076 With all due respect, I disagree. At least in my view, the age of a song should be counted from its release, not from the date it plays on the radio. This song was released on September 24, 1981, on the album "Something Special" by Kool & The Gang, so in a way it is even correct to think that she is not yet 40 years old, because it is still March, but in no way some will have to wait until 2022 to celebrate this achievement. But it's just my way of thinking, if you think differently, that's fine by me. Peace. Iuri Buscácio
