I have taught the subject Holocaust for many years! And it was very difficult teaching my students of what some monstrous humans can do to others! Absolutely brought me to tears. My mother survived Auschwitz. I would have given anything to be one of the singers. My father, a Dutch Indonesian Jew, survived the Nagasaki atomic bomb. I wrote a book to keep my parents' memory alive, to tell the world what they suffered and how they survived and triumphed over tragedy, against all odds. They keep trying to annihilate us, destroy us, but we are still here. We are alive, and we are still here. We are strong!!!
