Kooringal HS Precious Plastics recycling initiative

Kooringal High School is running a plastic recycling initiative to reduce plastic waste in their school.
Plastic is collected and turned into functional items by students studying Design and Technology, Art and Engineering.
With the help of the Sustainable Schools Grant (SSG) the school has been able to invest in machinery and equipment needed to turn the collected plastic into workable plastic sheets which can then be cut and shaped into various functional items.
