As a Swede, as Ike said about "the law of Jante" ("Jantelagen" in Swedish), is about being modest and don't put yourself above others. You can be confident and be proud of stuff for sure, but don't act all high and mighty about it or flaunt it. Say you have a Tesla since you have a lot of money or whatever, but don't think you are better than someone who drives a small old Toyota from the 1980's. Just because you have that expensive car doesn't make you better than that person, just different.

Sensei really should be more confident! I noticed sensei would tend to worry about his pronunciation and that's what makes him messes up his pronunciation slightly. But when he's too into something and gets caught in the heat of the moment perfect english comes out. Just like me, I tend to worry about my pronunciation that's why it's not as good whenever I talk to someone. But when I'm alone, my english pronunciation is great. Or when I'm crying, I lose all of my asian accent because I'm too busy crying to care about the pronunciation. So yeah, sensei should really be more confident in his english!

Think that is the standard in Sweden at least. Could not even imagine sleeping in clothes, would be so fucking warm under the blanket. Only reason to have boxers is so the bed etc doesn't get dirty as quickly and to "hold it together".
