It’s always interesting to me when I hear someone do a problem like 11 x 11 manually. Like they’ll go, 11, 22, 33… until 121. By far, for me at least, the easiest way is to go-11 x 10 =110, and then add 11 to 110. Then, there you go, 121. That strategy cuts literally 9 steps off the process and since multiplying by 10 is very simple you can just go from there.

There is a trick with multipling 11 with two digit number. You just take number aside of 11 and treat them as first and the last number of answer. you get middle by adding the two. E.g. 11×13=143. take 1 from 13 as first number, 3 as last and by adding 1+3 get 4. Let's take another example. 11×29=319. 9 from 29 is our last number. 2 should be first. but 2+9 is 11 which adds 1 to 2. that's how we got 319

I was raised with a strict father whose brilliant at math and I had to recite my entire times table from 2-20 every single night before dinner since I was 6, if I got even one wrong I had to start over from my two times tables, half of me thought it was ridiculous but since I was raised that way the other half thought it was normal, so seeing people, especially Luca and Hex who would have been engineers, struggle this much with simple math hurts my brain and soul kind of knowing that they can’t do this, but then I remember how I was raised and I’m like, nah, let them be happy lol I’m 16 now and I’m amazing at math in so many ways, I take advanced classes but it’s at the price of my happiness lmao

Sigh... I hate stuff like PEMDAS, it doesn't make sense to me. >_< But apparently, it's like... Parantheses, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, THEN Subtraction, in that order. :p So... instead of 25, it's 15, because I think it's like... 6 x 3 is 18 + 2 is 20, then minus 5 is 15. :p That's how you solve it. :? Sigh... yeah, it doesn't make any sense to me that the order is all mixed up instead of left to right like how I think most people would normally think, but there you go. :p Also, here's how my brain works for some of them. :p 50 x 10 is 500, times two, is 1,000. :p 11 times 10 is 110, plus another 11, being 121. :p 9 times 5 is 45, plus two 9s (18) is 63. :p
