What an absolute bro. I've lowsided like this on the track before. Not fun, didn't absolutely destroy my bike like this since I had sliders I just picked it back up and kept racing. You were very thoughtful and forward thinking slowing traffic. Glad your friend is ok.

Very glad that the riders okay, and much respect to you. This all ended okay but as an older rider I have to add 8/10’s is the maximum one should do on public roads. You never know when gravel, grease, or a car/bike might cross over from the other lane. This is no I hope a wiser, safer, faster rider.

@KoraMK26 жыл бұрын
Those are marker balls. The marker balls are placed on power lines to make the conductor crossings visible to aircraft. Helicopters and small aircraft often fly low in mountain passes or freeways and usually fly low while approaching an airport.

Pilot Power Tire? I had them too and they have no feedback before loosing grip whatsoever. Also they dont like that much lean angle. Michelin never again. Good he wasnt injured.
@davidaguilar5366 жыл бұрын
Trying to figure out what happened. It seems like he was starting to stand up the bike at the end of the turn when he washed up the front. The only thing I believe could've caused this is that I can sort of hear the throttle being let's off a tiny bit an instant before the bike washes off. Thoughts?

How did he low side when he was almost on the straight. Was he on the throttle exiting the turn?
@llerradish6 жыл бұрын
I was wondering exactly the same thing. I watched it over and over and he was practically out of the turn actually almost on the straight stretch his bike went straight down road if he would have wrecked in the corners bike would have went off the road immediately. I wonder if he got scared thought he was going to go wide and grabbed some breaks? Very weird?
@jerryp13926 жыл бұрын
He turned traction control off for better wheelies i bet, then overthrottled the turn exit.
@stevenshelp11076 жыл бұрын
Probably either gravel or something else slick at that spot. I’ve been riding fairly straight before and a slight adjustment while your front tire goes over something is enough to kick it out of balance sometimes

Too high of a gear -> not enough RPMs -> not enough power available to compress the suspension into the turn -> loss of traction Could also have been old tires, underinflated tires, or overinflated tires but I suspect the loss of traction would've happened before the apex, not after.

I’m not a gambler but I bet you that the dark line spotted at 0:35 is greasy, right when the front tire touches it he goes down, it wasn’t low angle/gas nor brakes imo, he was exiting the corner already
@tomasnilsson16696 жыл бұрын
That looks like a rear tyre mark from another rider exiting that corner fast and those are normally not slippery. He does not increase throttle before going down, he does not seem to brake either so I totally agree with you on that. I guess he is to stiff in his arms or tries to control the bike by forcing the bars. It is right when he is trying to pick the bike up and exit the corner that it goes down. It was on the limit and he gave the front a little nudge over the edge.
