@chestersouth6013 жыл бұрын
Hey fellow anglers and anyone that can help me. But what is the reason for Darrel using the multi rig in this stripped back fashion? Surely it’s exactly the same as the standard multi rig with just the break in coating at hinge right? The only thing I can think is that this allows you to use standard hooks instead of chod style hooks. I’ve also noticed around the eyes of hooks where the hook is finished off can be a bit rough and sharp looking. I wonder if it’s totally safe to run a bare braid slip loop against this over and over? Any comments very welcome
@chestersouth6013 жыл бұрын
@Neil Hawkins Thanks Neil, but you didn’t really answer the queries I had. Why wouldn’t you just use a standard multi rig unstripped apart for the small break hinge section. From what I can tell mechanically they are identical. Also that uncoated bit of braid pulled and rubbing against the hook eye end, any potential issues there? Thanks man
@chestersouth6013 жыл бұрын
@Neil Hawkins ok thanks mate, yeh I know about these rigs. The standard slip D is tied to the hook though isn’t it so it’s not free moving like in this multi version. I tied one up yday and looked closely at some Muggas they definitely have some rough areas the braid loop would be rubbing against. Also your comment re the chod hooks on multi, I suppose it depends how stiff your coated braid is. I use hybrid stiff sometimes and you’d need a choddy to keep game open enough, in my opinion of course. Anyway I really like Darrells rig in this video, I’ve tied up similar things with supple braid loops double albrighted to fluro. All looks good, but that rubbing braid makes me nervous, Darrel obv has no issues
@chestersouth6013 жыл бұрын
@Neil Hawkins id like to show you a picture of my hybrid stiff and a mugga attached and see if you still think it would be a good idea. Basically zero gape
@chestersouth6013 жыл бұрын
@Neil Hawkins sorry Neil also for clarification I’m gonna assume when you write “slip D” you mean the multi hook change version, not the slip D that’s tied in place on the shank
@chestersouth6013 жыл бұрын
@Neil Hawkins yeh Darrells one is the one I was nervous about, not your one. Anyway mate, I’ve just skeptically put a mugga on and the gape is basically closed fully however....once you pull on it a little and almost shape the hook link. It actually sits wicked, thanks so much for this. I’m gonna stick with muggas as I’ve got so much confidence in them, however would you use a 4 or 6 typically on a standard multi, good news is muggas are also my wafter/bottom bait hook so probably just only use these now, as long as pop up hook holds are good 👊🏼

🎼Said I'm thinking tackle yer I'm casting korda touch down line 15lb like brick holding the topography under water size 6 wide gape cos I love the way it claws the carp at the bottom lip just like it was orto tryed different patterns krank curve shank but allway go back to the kamakura compack luggage so I'm mobile like them hippos in the water one quick bait let the helisafe dump the lead cos theres bear weed up in this corner fishing in a hole in it cos its where they like to hold up so we have to git a donk or its recast recast to ya no it's bang on under that water now its just a waiting game with Mr Fairbrass on the virgin water.. peace out to my tackle box brother and kordafam Tight Lines and good time

Sorry Dan and I love you, I’m know. As the Korda kid, but them tops look silly to me , i know what there purpose is but you look ridiculously silly, like your wearing a jigsaw, us carp anglers get enough stick, just do them in green or something … again , I know the purpose of these amazing products and what you want to achieve, and I’m sure every single angler on here would agree, you are the Don , but them tops are to much, wind it back a little …much love to team Korda … and keep up your amazing work with helping us carp anglers and giving us amazing products and innovation, to me , specially with recents event are just amazing..

Not true. The Embryo fisheries are made to be affordable.. I was a member of one for 220 a year. You do 3 nights on linear with all your bait and food and you’re looking at 150-170. Embryo waters are definitely cost friendly.
@Kingcarparpeggio3 жыл бұрын
I agree….Just joined Cables at Abingdon as an OAP…….£120.00. Trouble is with a lot of these kids they think they’re just going to walk straight into a decent syndicate. No excuse not to join Embryo and run by proper carp anglers. Big thanks to Danny and the Embryo team.
