i didn't know fishing for carp was so sophisticated... here in the U.S. all i do is use 6lb test and cast out with night crawlers and carp action all day lol. i use a 6"10 shimano and phlueger president reel.

theres much fewer carp on waters here because the locals eat em all iv sat on a river watching the locals just reeling them in and they go straight in the cooler

They are there for the huge fish that you don't get in natural lakes and I don't think there will be bream and other fish in these water, they would of been taken out for that reason.
