Re watching al the old disks . After a few years off and some life problems , I am now feeling the need to be on the bank . Already done a 3 day session and had 2 , a 23 and a 14.7 this year after 8 years out .

Some people are just jealous. He has done well for himself he has his own fishing series a lake with huge carp in it and a great tackle company and some people just cannot handle it's quite sad really.

expensive as well mate, they do it because everything is free so they can use masses of the stuff, the reason for allot of things in it is so the fish dont become pre occupied on one bait and gives you allot of options to change your hookbait which stops the fish getting weary of a particular bait if being caught often

the only thing im not a fan of.........is the 20 things that go in the spod mix. Makes it impossible to isolate what produced the take......if you know they love one thing, just spod one thing.......becuase if they arent having the cell boilies, a cell boilie hook bait is pointless.......in most cases the hook bait is a pick up.......use a plastic?

@@markcromwell1975 Not that much, we have some waters with 20+kg fish (mainly big lakes, big and very dificult lakes, or rivers), but majority of the public waters here is periodicaly restocked with 3year old carp, to be catched and eaten, so its dificult for them to grow up, and the bigger ones are really dificult to catch. It will be better I think, cuz we have a new law regulating fishing, and it gives room to protect bigger specimens of every species.

@@ujoplynar we don't eat them in England. We always put them back. The bigger ones are a very wise and are also difficult to catch. We also usually work in pounds not kgs

I don't agree with putting salt into any spod mixes or bait the reason being salt doesn't breakdown it will stay in the water for an extremely long time when the water level decreases the salt level increases which in long-term is bad for freshwater fish

Theres only 4 ingredients in the spod mix? Basic really. And it should flush out well. I've seen worse. Personally I don't think there is a "wrong" or "right" in a spod mix or ground bait. If its carpy it's good to use, as long as it's used correctly and not overdone

I want the fish to get preoccupied with the one bait that's doing the trick. And if particles is getting the fish to put their heads down......a hook bait that is a boilie or flavour that doesn't match the spod mix will generate wieryness. The whole point is to get the fish feeding confidently....Im a big fan of matching everything, and keeping it consistant as in my video "keeping it simple, keeping it consistant" - I respect your opinions though
