The Battle Belt has been an essential piece of gear for many years with little innovation... until now. KORE has changed it up with their latest version of the two piece belt with a simple design minimizing the bulk behind their ratcheting buckle. I love it and plan to continue to use this belt going forward. If you're in the market for a battle belt, go to www.glockstore.com and search the product number "5400".
Let's start a conversation in the comments! I read every one of them!
Thanks for watching!

I have nothing but good things to say about this Kore battle belt setup. I work as a commissioned security officer and have been wearing this belt for 12 to 15 hours a day when I'm working. Keep in mind I have tried most of the competition and to be honest none of them hold a candle to this Kore system. I am just glad I found it.

I'm a SWAT quartermaster, Sniper TL, and competitor, I've had the luxury to try out many products and other battle belt, but the Kore battle belt is by far my favorite. The ratcheting system makes for easy adjustment whether sitting or running and gunning. The hook and loop has never failed me or caused an issue with drawing my side arm, mags, or cuffs. Bottom line- Kore makes an awesome product.

Been running battle belts for 18 years over my LE career and the Kore version is by far the best one I've ever had and don't plan on using anything else. Adjusts easily and quickly. The adjustments come in handy between winter and summer when layering is needed. It's sturdy and supports all of my equipment nicely. The under belt is awesome too. Now they need to make a black basket weave duty belt! G. Frey

Ok, not going to lie or try and be something I’m not. I’ve never served in the military. I do however believe in training and being prepared. I wanted a quality battle belt that I can use for responding to incidents within my residence or SHTF scenario. Not having battle belt experience I did a lot of research. I do have KORE belt experience and knew that I liked that. I am able to setup this belt with my pistol on the right side, combat knife right behind. Got my pistol and rifle mag holders on the left with a dump pouch and IFAK on the right side back(5 o’clock position). Easy to get on and into action as needed, comfortable to wear for extended periods. Holds my full load out with ease. I would also highly recommend this to others in need of such a belt.

Same here… wore my nylon gray EDC belt nearly every day for three years.. the material is starting to get a little frayed on the edges of the belt where it rubs on the front belt loops. Time to replace it, and pick up a black leather one for fancy occasions. And I must concur with OP… I will NEVER wear a trad belt ever again. This design is genius 👍🏽

I use the Kore battle belt as my daily police duty belt - and there is nothing to complain about! I it has everthing what I personally was looking for long time! A Slim belt - stiff and rigid so the pouches, holsters and other stuff fit and hold tight without jerking around. Works great with the innerbelt which prevents additionally any movement. Perfect size adjustments are easily be done one handed even you sit in the car. The belt hanger is als working very fine and holds the weight without any troubles in the locker. All in all - the way how a duty belt kit should be!

Thank you, Larry. Well done demo and chat how to measure twice, cut once with Kore instructions. I have worn two different types of Kore EDC belts since 2019 and they are the best of many types of belts I have worn over the years. Their EDC belts have excellent workmanship and design and this battle belt certainly holds up everything. I just wish I hadn't bought another brand years ago with the same idea of inner/outer belts; not so easy to make micro-adjustments, no compensation for buckle bulge, no Molle straps to reduce amount of material between belts. I also like that the inner belt is 1.5" wide which fits most male trousers and outer belt is wider at 1.75. Kore web site says that the belt can hold up to 20lbs. My heavier EDC belt can hold a lot just not that much. If I get a Kore battle belt (thinking anniversary/birthday/Christmas present to self) nice to know I can shop GlockStore for holster/mag pouches. Do you have pouch to hold AR-15 pattern mags on this belt?

Got one in Feb as a gift from my dad and this belt is ROCK SOLID!! Best battle belt I ever had (I've owned 3 over 10 years). You cant humanly pull it off your waist unless you activate the release lever. Its stiff enough to hold anything you put on it and best of all you can adjust the fit while you walk and never unbuckle. What other battle belt can say that? NONE.

Only used this belt a few days to instruct a rifle/pistol class. It was the first time I didn’t spend half the day pulling my belt up. I have been using a Ronan belt for years but I have never liked it because it wouldn’t adjust tight enough and stay. The kore is so easy to adjust and it doesn’t get loose and try pulling my pants down even with 2 pistol mag 2 rifle mags and Glock 17.

I own the Kore pants belt for holsters. Had about 3 years now. I wear belts out from sweat and stretching, belt curling over and sagging. The Kore with the ratchet lock is the best belt I have ever owned. And when I put on a holster, it holds the holster rock steady. If I am wearing pants I am wearing the Kore 7 days a week.

The Kore battle belt is hardcore! I have tried so many different types of gun belts, from the traditional leather of several types to double thick glued-up scuba webbing and the marriage of leather and scuba webbing. There is no 1.75” belt out there that equals the Kore battle belt. The incremental adjustment track is genius. There is only one thing that could make it better and that is if they would make a full 2-inch version.

I have some Kore regular pant belts. I have a G Code “battle belt”. It has the Velcro inside belt and also a rough textured material you can stick to the Velcro on the main belt and wear it without having to tuck in your shit. The rough texture keeps it in place. An important consideration before cutting your belt is what type of pants are you wearing and is it for civilian use or a tactical application. There will be two very different measurements obviously due to the thickness of your pants and or if you are wearing any tactical undergarment which extends below the waistline. Additionally, when you set up your rig the most effective way is to put the belt on your waist and first start by attaching your FA. When adding other gear it's best to have someone assist you so they can position your items on the belt while you check to see if that works for your reach. If necessary they can simply change the position without you having to keep taking your rig on and off. While assigned to SRT we felt this was the most efficient way to setup and utilize the belt.

One point to note about the old school Law Enfocement duty belts vs a MOLE battle belt, which most LEOs are switching to...the old school belts the only thing that realy secured to a fix point on a duty belt was your holster. The remaining items like cuff cases, magazine pouches, etc slide over the belt and tend to shift around, you would have to use several belt keepers to hold these items in place...this usually causes Hotspots and chafing in certain areas around your waist when wearing it for long hours...the mole system is lighter and less prone to shifting because it locks everything in place.

My guess is if you are repelling out of helicopters or down the sides of building, you'd best stick with the Cobra, but for normal - and even heavy duty - use, the Kore system will be fine. I've been using it (admittedly just for civilian carry) for over five years and across 4 different Kore belts, and I've never had a problem. Having said that, a strength test _would_ be interesting... 👍

I was wondering if anyone here ever just keeps both the inner and outer belts connected all the time. Instead of separating them, putting the inner belt through your belt loops and then attaching the outer belt, you just keep them attached and put on over your pants? If that makes sense the way i worded it? I recently bought this belt and prefer to take the whole system on/off all at once. When I am wearing it, it doesn't move much and still stays in place. I just dont put any of it through the belt loops. Does anyone else here do this? Or should I quit doing this and wear it the way it was intended?

READ BEFORE CUTTING BELT!!!! Do not use the guide provided! You might end up cutting too much! Dont ask me how i know this… First off, wear your typical range clothes with your shirt tucked in then cut the INNER belt to size. Next, attach all accessories to the OUTER BELT, particularly the ones with mounts that sandwiches the outer belt (ie tek-lok, holster mounts), to their approximate final position. The reason being is any material thats put between the inner and outer belt essentially makes your “waist line” wider……Now with the inner belt already in place around your waist, temporarily attach the buckle onto the outer belt then mock up the outer belt onto the inner belt. Pay close attention to the location of the ratchet tooth along the belt track. Cut the outer belt so that the ratchet tooth lands on the last notch of the belt track with the purpose of maintaining the most slack (not to be confused with the last tooth at the very end of the belt). Temporarily re-mount the buckle onto the belt. If its still too long, only cut in short amounts until theres just about an inch of belt track, in respect to from the ratchet tooth to the medial side of the belt, again with the purpose of maintaining the most slack. EDIT: QUICK TIP, if you shoot competition and like having mags at the front, flip the belt so that the belt slack is advancing toward the holster

Wait. If you wear a 32 and cut it to 33 it won't work? That sounds like a fatal design flaw. Adjustability is a key required feature in belts because people's weight can fluctuate. Sounds like if you buy this belt, then gain weight, this belt will become unusable. That is not good.

Sorry you don't understand how the belt system works. The Kore battle belt can be cut to fit any waist from a 24" up to 48". Once you cut it to your size you have 5" of adjustability due to the fact that your waist size fluctuates every day. If you gain weight it is still usable. Thanks

If I’m not mistaken the size you cut it too will be the smallest it will cinch down. I would probably go +4/-1 on the belt size. That way you would not max out the ratchet . I can squeeze into a 36 pant. I wear a 38 5.11 pant. I’m really a 37 pant size. I ended up cutting the belt to a 35.5”. I actually prefer cutting it to the half inch due to how the Molle is spaced.

Absolute rigidity and they hold a full-size 1911, Compact 1911, G19.5, P80 Compact, P80 subcompact, Ruger Speed Six, Hellcat OSP, and a S&W 442 Pro without any issues at all for both OWB and IWB. Not to mention spare mags / speedloaders on the off side. Maybe it's the difference between leather and nylon? @@michaelslisher4652 perhaps it is just a quality (or lack of quality) issue with the Kore leather belts. In any case, the real issue for me is that Kore DID NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT and for that reason alone I would NEVER buy another Kore product.

My Kore leather EDC has held up fine, the workmanship is more than acceptable... however it sags.. I prefer a stiffer belt. I wrote Kore regarding this after wearing the belt for a few weeks, and suggested a stiffer option, but no response from them. I was able to find a EDC ratchet belt that was more suitable to my needs (stiffer) in another well known brand, so I've been looking at them for my next leather EDC purchase. I imagine the garrison and battle belts from Kore are stiffer. But not what I need for most of my EDC needs.

@@timsmith7817 ". . . but no response from them". Exactly! I would never patronize a company that does not respect the customer enough to respond to a complaint. Bottom line for me = Kore does NOT respect their customers nor, apparently, do they stand behind their products!

What Safelife belt do you have? WHen I need to adjust my Safelife belt at the range I gotta undo the buckle and mess with the straps on each side then buckle up again. This belt adjusts while walking and without undoing the buckle.
