There is no one perfect way to run a gun belt for every scenario; Here are my various set-ups and an explanation as to why I went with what I did, as well as some insight on what value you are getting with each belt. All notes are just my opinion - no hard feelings :)

For the Safariland paddle/belt loop attachment, you can avoid cutting out the tegris material by weaving the belt underneath the paddle rather than over the top. The design is for it to be sent underneath. The True North Concepts plate is a popular choice too. It also gives the ability to adjust the cant of the holster backwards or forwards and will attach through the molle on your belt instead of the traditional method to weave the whole thing through. It’s also slimmer and takes up less room. The GBRS dudes run it quite a bit. For the rifle mags, there is a product called the ridgeline drop that can also help you achieve a lower ride height. It’s a factory option if you don’t want to get something custom made, there are other such products on the market. Helps when you have a plate carrier on and items on the cummerbund, you can get space between.

I've been wearing a KORE essentials EDC belt for a year now and in the context of a heavy metal industrial worker. Before I started wearing a gun belt, my belts would NOT last me very long before they started getting chewed up by leaning over heavy/sharp hunks of metal/getting blasted by particulate matter from grinders etc. The KORE EDC belt is still just as effective as when i bought it. I also do use it to carry a gun when I'm not at work and it keeps the gun held securely to my body and keeps my pants held up too. Overall i am really pleased with the Kore belt and will probably buy one of their combat belts for range use.

Wore 3 month old Kore battle belt for tje tactical games a few weeks back and it definitely proved itself an asset when I needed it. The fact that I could cinch and loosen at will without undoing the buckle was huge. Definitely outperformed my Blue Alpha and Ronin belts.

Great review man . Was curious if you ever used ronin tactics belts or plan on using them. Shout out from a fellow Canadian 🇨🇦

Picked up an od green battle belt from Kore last month, set it up and ran it 3 times so far and its very very good. Its more supportive than my previous belts and adjusts very well. It takes a minute to get used to the adjustment tab and once you do there's no going back. I can sit down and loosen it up to eat like 1/2 inch and never undo the buckle. That in itself its worth the price for me.

Been running that Kore combat battle belt for almost a year inc a few tactical games and plenty of range days. So far its the best I ve ever used and I love the adjustability of the fit and I need that. Not sure I can ever go back to a cobra belt again. Just a note Kore also carries their own holster mount thats less that True concepts and includes a leg strap.

Are you running that TYR padded inner belt through your pants belt loops or does it sit on the outside of the pants? I currently use a 2in Blue Alpha inner/outer belt which is fantastic, however it does cause the odd hot spot where the rigid edge of the outer belt contacts. A padded option looks good.

I also run CZ P10 guns and have been looking at locking holsters for them, Safari land doesn't list any of their holsters as compatable so is the als seen here one of the glock ones? I know gen one P10c fit 19 holsters but the gen 2 C and F have very little information online about holster compatability.

I bought a g19 holster for my cz910 sc. Wrong size. so it has the full-length barrel (4.5") I believe the g17 has the same length barrel as the czp10c but I'm not sure if the width ect is all the same.

I bought the GBRS belt this summer, great belt but 100% overpriced it also come with almost 100$ of custom fees. So not the best bang for your buck, I wish I knew those canadian compagnie.

I feel bad for those companies in Canada- it must be a very lean market now. M-Tac in Ukraine is making amazing quality gear. The kit situation has completely reversed since last spring.
