thanks Ethan! My advice would be: - watch lots of tutorials about making music with the software you are using (I use FL Studio so I watched many tutorials on how to make music through that). I still watch many tutorials actually as sometimes they are good ways to trigger inspiration. If you want the best music production tutorials check out SeamlessR. - learn basic music theory if you don't know already - reading many articles online also helped me a bit. It also helps me to keep thinking about music production Hope that helps :)
