Loved it! I have a few of these cafes pinned on Naver as well 😍 I’ve always wanted to go to Korea with friends too, for the same reasons you said, but as the years went by they always had other plans and I’ve started to grow tired of waiting… I still hope it works out for us to go together, but I’ve started to accept the fact that if I have to I’ll just go by myself, and make the most of it as a solo traveller 😅 thank you for another beautiful vlog, also happy last days of 2023! Honestly, the country will change so much esp in korea where places open and close quite fast, it’s not worth waiting on others! Just save up, plan and go yourself, it’s so safe so you’ll have no trouble otherwise - hoping you can experience all of this too one day & (early) HNY 💗💗

In not a coffee drinker and I know cafe hopping is a huge deal in Korea and I’m nervous of missing it because I simply don’t like coffee but love the smell of it. I feel you when it comes to take pics in cute photo spots if I can I would set a tripod and go for it.

there is hardly any oat milk in korea so i actually ordered ades most of the time! they have lots of non-coffee options (likes tea) so you can still enjoy cafe hopping! setting up a whole tripod would get me too much attention 😅 i couldnt do it

@@oodays. yeah I know Korea got some pretty aesthetic drinks so I might do that one. And yes setting a tripod can and will attract attention but the trick is using lens buddy it takes multiple photos or video in seconds

if i’m in a not-so-busy place i’d deffo take a tripod with me! e.g. in busan it would have been perfect for me 😭 i regret it, but i’m going to bear it in mind for future ☺️

I'm also from England and I'm going alone as well and I was wondering if you felt safe in korea as a woman alone?? I'm super excited to go but slightly worried about staying safe as I've heard really mixed things about women's safety in korea

Thank you so much!! I felt super safe at all times, everyone is really kind when I need help and otherwise, they always mind their own business. It deffo helps to know basic Korean too, and due to tourism there are plenty of people who know some English where needed ☺️ i hope you have the best trip ever!!

I really wanted to read the subtitles, but I couldn't read all of them. Some of them are almost illegible. It would very nice of you to use different color next time, i.e. black. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I understand that in some scenes it’s harder to read the subs but it’s not that strenuous, you can always pause to read. I’ve experimented with colour and styles but they do not work for majority of the video like white does. I’ll keep thinking for a better solution, thanks for the feedback

How about white letter in black box? I've tried 'to pause to read' but it was so time consuming and still hard to read. It was very frustrating and I gave it up reading subtitles. Watching other videos which uses the same white color, I've found out that pixel count could be the cause of the illegibility because I had no trouble reading subtitles watching them. I'm not saying you should change the filming device with the one which has higher resolution. It's just my observation. Good luck on your next trip!

I was thinking to do white text with a black boarder too! Or maybe a shadow? It could also be that the vlog had too many elements and perhaps doesn’t appear the same to everyone? I try to export more detailed videos in higher quality so viewers can watch more comfortably, I haven’t had anyone around me note this issue so I’ll try figure it out through trial and error, please bear with me ☺️
