Korea you did a great job. Honestly I expected a 3-0 on America’s favor, but after the first set I changed my mind. First and last sets were also very close. USA is indeed strong, but Korea improved so much, so keep it going!

considering half the Korean team were Korean reserve players too Their main left hitter (Lee Jae Young - played a little at the end), main libero (Kim Hae Ran) didn't play at all Even their main centre Suji too I believe

USA is always the most difficult team to Korea. I've seen that Korea defeated China, Brazil several times but never USA. Today, they fought well and won the 3rd set. They are improving. Win or lose, they look happier than ever.

Chen Uy It doesn’t really matter Korea defeated China in Asian games or VNL or without Zhu Ting. We know Chinese team is the best in the world and but everytime most of Chinese fans claim like that was in Asian games or they played without Zhu Ting so what????? fed up with their reactions.

Yes indeed, so much power on the ball from the Americans. For some reason the same happens USA women whenever they encounter Brazil on the big stage. Surprising this very Korean team took Brazil down 3-1 quite easily. Great game altogether.

PL No, in what year was South Korea defeating China and Brazil last time? I only know that almost every time China and Brazil beat South Korea. We are talking about the main team of both sides. You can list the main players of China and Brazil lost to South Korea in the past five or ten years.

It feels that the korean national team is exhausted. You can feel the heaviness in their movements. But even so they gave a good fight. Korean women's volleyball team is no longer a push over team. You cannot underestimate them anymore. They vastly improved. May they be given the chance to be seen in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

I believe so. It will probably be something like their short track speedskaters, once they win a large tournament like Olympics or world cup, popularity spikes even higher, national pride to coincide with competitive East Asian rivals will make it a formidable team and a dynasty maybe born. Tbh Korea have talented stars they need stronger role players and get over the hurdle of winning a major event.

Great match. solid performance by USA. So tough when they are focused. Shame that korean liberos were injured and winger who never played libero had to sub in. Everyone seemed tired and outmatched. KYK and Lee Jaeyeong seemed fatigued. Also USA prepared for them very well. Still a great tournament by Koreans and of coz 2nd place USA. Congrats!!!

@@vu7419 I laughed when I saw Barch hackley and Robinson being liberos in some of their games. But I think it helps them with making their players well rounded. We have to admit that the U.S team is probably the most rounded players of all the teams. They have this jack of all trades going on with their veteran players.

미국팀은 항상 느끼는건데 엄청나게 신장이 큰 선수는 없지만 평균키가 높고 탄력들이 전부 좋고 기본기가 탄탄함.. 한마디로 구멍이 없음 게다가 대기 선수들도 다른나라 용병급이라ㅎㅎ 서브 공격 수비 토스 조직력 블로킹 어느하나 빠지는게 없는게 미국 국가대표 여자배구팀인듯~ 저런 공력력을 가지고 수비도 저렇게 하면 이기기 힘들지ㅎㅎ

Can't hit a ball against a wall and expect it to go through. If it didn't go through the 1st time probably won't the 2nd @6:40. Unless it's a fast set and power spike, or hit it out off the block. Need better strategy

It was very interesting for me to support my nation against the inevitable ladies. I wonder how far Eunjin Park will have improve until the next Olympic. She is not as tall as her teammate Hyojin Yang(190cm) but has faster steps and smooth movements when she usually detour from the position behind her setter in a few game this world cup. I hope she would take the place of Yang as soon as possible. and Soyoung Lee is not a libero in our nation league. She is a left spiker in her team (GS caltex) but had received so nicely through her career and Lavarini found that she could handle that position besides Haerran Kim and Jiyoung Oh are not in a good shape. In this video, the commentators didn't notice this aspect, she is not HR Kim but Soyoung Lee. Congratulation, USA ! It is hard to find any weak point in your players, not as a single player but also as a team. Robinson, Drew and B-hackley are all tremendous attackers and adorable players. So kind of you to perform so terrific in this game. :)
