Hello Songnims! Song-ha! It’s Songchef, Yunhyeong.
Today I came back with a Korea X Indonesia video.
I came up with a collaboration of one of Korea’s most popular bunsik, Kimbap and Rabokki, and the Indonesian ramyun, Mi Goreng
And it was a success!
I practiced making it by myself, and it was so good that I had to share with our guest, Junhoe, the tteokbokki lover.
You guys should try it too!
I won’t say much, just try it :)
Special thanks to Junhoe for filming this mukbang with me
I’ll come back with more interesting contents. Bye :)
------------------------------------------------
*Ingredients for Gimbap
Mi Goreng ramyun, Dried seaweed and rice, Tuna,
Bacon, Mozzarella cheese, Mayonnaise, Perilla leaf, Yellow pickled radish
*Ingredients for Rabokki
Mi Goreng ramyun, Rice cake (soak it in water for prep),
Fish cake, Onion and Scallions, Red pepper paste and red pepper powder, Minced garlic
------------------------------------------------
*Mi-Goreng bacon cheese Kimbap
Cook the bacon
Crush the ramyun noodles and cook in boiling water
Overcook the noodles, then remove any excess water and put them in a bowl with rice
Mix the Mi Goreng sauce with few drops of sesame oil in a bowl
Cover about 70% of the dried seaweed with thin layer of rice and noodles
Place the bacon, mozzarella, and yellow pickled radish on top and roll it well with the rolling mat
Shape it as you roll it with the rolling mat
Microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese, then cut the kimbap into pieces
Sprinkle some sesame seeds and you're done!
*Mi Goreng Tuna Kimbap
Mix tuna with mayonnaise
Place the perilla leaf, tuna, and yellow pickled radish on a thin layer of rice and noodles on dried seaweed
Roll it well just like the bacon cheese kimbap
Cut them to pieces then sprinkle some sesame seeds. And it's done!
*Mi Goreng Rabokki
Cut the onion, scallions, and fish cakes into pieces
Cook the soaked rice cake in boiling water
Put the entire Mi Goreng ramyun sauce
Put a tablespoon of red pepper paste and half a tablespoon of minced garlic
Put the cut onions and fish cakes in the pan
Put in bacon if you like them like Junhoe
Taste it and add some red pepper powder and a bit of honey (sugar)
Add the noodles from the Mi Goreng ramyun with the scallions
Put in buldak sauce (or Cheongyang Pepper), if you prefer it spicy like Junhoe
Once boiled down, turn off the stove and add some perilla leaves and sesame seeds. And you're done!
