The Armistice as signed in July 1953 to stop the major fighting with North Korea, the Military Demarcation Line and the Demilitarize Zone were created to separate the 2 Korea's. Since then, US military members have always been present to preserve and protect South Korea.
This video is 53 plus minutes of history involving US Troops and Veterans! From peace talks, troops serving on the DMZ, incidents, Korean War Repatriations, and DMZ Vets returning to the past. This is made from a collection of several videos about the DMZ.
Although we do not patrol or man guard towers anymore! We still have troops present with JSA at Panmunjom.
This video is dedicated to those soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve peace in Korea!

Also the dead who gave it all post 1951 to present. Korea is still as you know a combat tour{unrecognized} as you know. Look at the burial coffins and caskets returning home and tell me it's not a continuing hazard tour. Especially for the 2ID guys. Send back to Dover AFB over many years. And I speak of 2ID all the way to pusan. Every President {including Trump} will never acknowledge the deadly tour or tours faced on that peninsula. The President believes he can persuade Kim Jung Un to denuclearize which will never happen. They will just wait him out for six more years and continue their agenda. Probably , most likely, declaring Korea a combat Area of Operations would unsettle the current global atmosphere.

But does it indicates both name? I only watched few seconds. And personally, Sea of Japan reflect their imperialism because I don't know any oceans indicates country's name. For example we don't call yellow sea as sea of China. Just personal opinion
