Korean food: Pancake for 500 won

😝 Near Jeonnong Rotary Market in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. We stop for a while at the stalls where the elderly serve panchim-gae to quench their hunger. He ate two hot pancakes and gave out a 1,000-won bill. It's a rare sight in an era where a meal at any restaurant costs over 10,000 won. It costs only 500 won for a pancake with plenty of chives... I asked the owner of the secret to maintaining a good price.

오래된 단골인데 오랜만에 가니까 생생정보통이나 여러곳에서 촬영왔다고 하시더라구용 여기 전은 특별한게 없이 맛있어요.. 옛날에 아주머니랑 수다떨면서 알아낸 바로는 손목을 갈아 넣으시는 겁니당.. ㅠ ㅠ 몇년 전에도 힘들다구 그만하신다구 하셨는데 아직까지도 자리를 지켜주셔서 제 입장에서는 감사합니다만 조금이라도 가격올려서 편하게 오래오래 해주셨으면 좋겠어요 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 밀가루가격도 많이 올랐는데 고생덜 하셨으면 좋겠씁니다.....애정합니다
