I've bought baju kurung there too during my study. Im shock at how serious u guys were when choosing the baju kurung xD. I dont think u guys are too familiar with baju kurung but yet u guys still chose the really pretty kind. The one that fashionable girls would wear aka not me, lol. The good thing about modern kurung is that u guys can also mix and match with other things, even with pants. So that way u dont just wear it like once a year

It’s nice to see you guys totally immersing yourself with Malaysian culture. Going to Jalan TAR for raya is one of the must do pre-raya activity especially for living in Kl. Maybe next time if you have the chance, you guys can try experiencing other festivals celebrated in Malaysia, like Chinese New Year, Hari Gawai, Deepavali, Christmas even! Hehe
