Korean Grammar | Using 와/과, 랑/이랑 & 하고 as 'and'

cannot believe I have being speaking korean for that long without realizing 과 & 와 were just very formal ways to say 랑 & 이랑 🙄 always taking care of 눈치 anytime I have to chain words really helpful thanks!!

뭔가 is short for 무엇인가, and it generally means something. For example. 저는 뭔가 먹고 싶어요 - I want to eat something. In this sentence 뭔가 means something, and we generally use it to refer to something we're not sure of. So even though I want to eat something, I don't know what it is that I want to eat. However, it can also be used in question forms to ask what something is. For example. 이것은 뭔가요? - What is this? So it can be used at the end of questions to ask what something is.
