@adik3334 жыл бұрын
@@asileginger8223 Mine wasn't a special class for just girls but that it isn't a taboo topic. Uncomfortable? Kinda but no one made a big deal about it. The best part is that if you took Biology in middle school, the menstrual cycle is part of the final exam. But teachers & fem students usually take the topic as an opportunity to answer all the questions the guys had about periods and menstruation. It's always a favourite topic amongst students bc it's both fun bc of all the stuff guys will ask but also super informative too. Bc of this, the info gets passed ard school and periods becomes normalise and no one makes periods a big deal.

@@adik333 The first time I had sex ed was when I was 10 or something like that. Although that time was honestly mostly for the girls, us guys participated in the first half, but then we were separated into two groups and got some more specific information that was relevant for us. It was honestly mostly hygiene and such at that point, but important nonetheless. The girls on the other hand learned about menstruation, tampons and sanitary pads, from what one of the girls told me later on. I agree with you though, it's important that people know about these things, because the more people who know about it, the less strange it'll feel. That's especially important for kids, but also for adults.

Hoseung is so respectful.... most guys are either disgusted by us when our period comes or just think we're overreacting when we complain about the cramps. But some of them ACTUALLY understand the fact that we hate these things, too and we go through all of that, crying at night trying to sleep and sometimes lack sleep because of the stupid cramps 🙃. And we have to go through that for a WEEK and guys have the AUDACITY to say we are overly rude or grumpy, when of course we'll be like that when we are internally hurting in the pelvis where it feels like you always have to pee and its just gross, im even disgusted with myself, and don't even get started with pregnancy. And basically to keep it short and simple, women have a higher pain tolerance than men do.

I can see that - it's an odd looking device, and without first-hand experience, how could you know otherwise? I like that they're showing proper usage so guys can comfortably learn about this kind of stuff. Most of the time, not even girls get such a frank discussion about these things. When a girl gets to that point, mom just points her to the bathroom, hands her the stuff she needs, and then leaves, letting the girl figure it out on her own. Or, at least, that was my experience - others may have had a more interactive experience. ^^

Menstrual cups for the win. I never even feel it and honestly forget I’m on my period since you really only have to empty every 12 hours or so depending on flow. And unlike tampons that are a solid mass that expand it fits perfect and the cervix just chills in it like a little hat. Best $12 I ever spent.
@brionbogar45664 жыл бұрын
Its really that great. I think i will buy it then. My main concern is if its uncomfortable to put in and if there will be a blood scene when taking it out
@jessthom10164 жыл бұрын
brion bogar it’s hard to get used to at first, there’s a few different ways to fold it to insert. I cut off the stem for pulling it out because my cervix is low and it was uncomfortable. So I just squeeze the bottom and it folds right out and all of the blood dumps into the toilet. It lasts 12+ hours w/o needing to be emptied so you don’t really have to think about it at work or school. The nightly time I empty is in the shower and let the blood go down the drain. I recommend a small cup if you’ve never had kids. Blossom is my go to cup. I have two. One that travels w/ me and one that stays home in case I ever get a surprise period.

same same!! I started to use it a lil more than 2 years ago, and I'm so happy. It's really a thing to get used to at first, but once you find out how it 'works', its so convenient. Even went swimming without being worried of bacteria or leaking. I mean personally, I wouldnt try that on my strongest 2 days... during the strong days, I need to empty it every few hours. I just lose a loooot of blood... still, feels more save and convenient than other products. And always remember to wash your hands before taking it out or putting it in! ^^
@Fanny-pf7oz4 жыл бұрын
I like mens cups as well. They're super convenient and you get you to know your body so well. I doubt I'd find out as much about my body until I started using my cups. Such as how much blood in a day I usually lose or how my uterus behaves in a cycle. Because it is so convenient I ended up buying two different types of cups. A big one for my strong days and a small one for the weak days. I even combine methods by using fabric pads in the days before, during and after Aunt Flo's visit to catch the leaks. I got a lot of use out of that money spent!

Having these two for this episode was a good combination. I like how they can ask questions, answer questions, compare experiences, and make comments without being embarrassed about objects that are a normal part of life..

Honestly, what a nice and informative video. All the explanations were frank and correct, and nothing was made out to be "weird" or anything.

One sincere suggestion, when you guys post a question, leave it for a few seconds longer for the viewers to read. This happens way too often, almost with every video, that the questions are 2 lines long but there’s only 2 brief seconds to read. It’s NOT ENOUGH TIME!
