Danur is the language (Satoori) from one of the regions in Indonesia,west java (sundanese) which means water that comes out from corpses during the process of decay

danur is based on true story and the main character is real live person who also writer from this movie. danur is somewhat scent of rotten corpse. that flower called "sedap malam" part of polianthes family flower meaning it strong scented on the night and it used on many mystical ocassion. in southeast asia, many believe that smelling this flower on the night, it mean that ghost near you. dont you say you brave if you not dare to watch indonesian horror movie.

If compare to korean movie, it must be nothing,,, i mean sometimes in korea they always make mystery became more deep and dark,,, but in this movie its just a picture that will startled you and the story quietly simple and easy to catch up, but still hope you will enjoy the movie,,, happy you guys pay attention for that... i am fans of korean movie hope someday indonesia can produce much cool movies like korean already did... but still we have some good movie which have good standard and can compared too but still we look up to you guys...

FYI, this movie Danur 2, and the sequel before, Danur, were based on true story. The real person whose portrayed as the heroine here is still alive and still have that six sense ability, so she keep telling more stories about them "who had passed away". So i hope this won't ruin your day. ^_^

Since you seems confused, "Danur" can be spelled as "다누르" in hangul. And fyi in Indonesia danur is some kind of liquid that come out from a decayed corpse and have a signature(?) smell. I hope it's helpful!
