This video is really very helpful. Earlier I was confused with the conjucation of ㅂ regulars but now I think I have understood the concept. I have tried making some sentences. 1) 어제 보다 오늘 날씨가 더 더워요. 2) 이 영화가 너무 무서워요. 3) 길이 복잡하기 때문에 않이 시끄러워요. 4) 제 집에서 회사가 가까워요. 5) 저는 한복을 한번 입은 적이 있어요.

Thank you for this Videos very informative. I just want to ask if all Iregular Verbs are comes with ㅂ? Is there any way that we can determine if the verb is iregular or we need to familiarize all the iregular verbs vocabs in Korean?

This is a good question which is one of frequantly asked questions by many Korean learners. I recommend you use the Korean dictionary. I will tell you what you should check from the dictionary. Simply you can find the conjugated form of a verb/adjective with the ending 아/어. (Irregular verbs or ajdectives with ㅂ are conjugated differently when they meet any ending which begins with a vowel 아/어, 으, 은 etc...) If the stem of the conjugated form with 아/어 stays the same as the basic form, it's a regular. 입다 -> 입어 (check the link of the dictionary and find the box under 입다) me2.do/FtvbtR8K If the stem of the conjugated form with 아/어 is different from the basic form,(like ㅂ is dropped), it's a irregular. 돕다-> 도와 (check the link of the dictionary and find the box under 돕다) me2.do/xkjXamQi Hope this helps.😊

There are much more. 집다 to pick up 줍다 to pick up 업다 to carry someone on the back 붙잡다 to grab etc... Only a few verbs & adjectives that end in ㅂ are irregular. Otherwise most of the verbs & adjectives that end in ㅂ are usually irregular.😊

이것은 is the original form which is used in written language and in formal situation. 이거는 is the short form of 이것은. This is used in spoken language and less formal situation. These are short forms of 이것 with particles. 이것은 -> 이거는 / 이건 이것을 -> 이거를 / 이걸 이것이 -> 이거가 / 이게 I hope this helps.😉

안녕하세요 선생님. 질문이 있어요. 연습 하고 있었어요 근데 이해 할 수 없었어요. If I wanted to conjugate 돕다 with -으면 why does the word become 도우면? The letter before ㅂ is ㅗ so I don't understand why it became ㅜ.

This video covers with only ending starting with 아/어. Let me explain ㅂ irregular conjugations with ending starting with 으. (This is not in the video.) When irregular verbs/adjectives stem ending in ㅂ meets the ending beginning with (으), (으)is dropped and ㅂ ALWAYS changes to 우. 돕다 + (으)면 -> 도우면 곱다+(으)ㄹ 거예요 -> 고울 거예요 귀엽다+(으)면 -> 귀여우면 춥다+(으)ㄹ 때 -> 추울 때 Since ㅂ irregular conjugations are tricky with the ending starting with 아/어, I made this video. I hope this helps.

Why use 어요 and not 아요 in most of the time am confused i have tried looking in to the vowel before ㅂ like other grammar but as in the video it doesn't work so how we decide its an 어요 not 아요?

The normal conjugation rules can't be used with irregular verbs. That's why if you look at the vowel before ㅂ to decide whether to use 아요 or 어요, it doesn't work. Irregular ㅂ verbs don't follow the normal rules so you must follow different rules when conjugating irregular ㅂ verbs.
