"Everybody" and "Don't call me" Are some of the hardest chero out there, so much so that I don't think a single Kpop group has tried to cover everybody. It is an incredibly physically demanding song and these boys no only perform it live, but have done so during torrential down pours. There is a reason they are called the Princes of Kpop and have started so many trend for the 3rd and 4th gen kpop groups. If you want to jump into Shinee you need to check out their lives, primarily "Stranger" from the SWC4 concert. Not only great chero, but you'll get a first hand taste of the vocal powerhouse known as Jonghyun.

SHINee are known as some of the best dancers in the whole industry. They started the synchronized dance trend. And they made the industry realize that if anyone else wanted to compete they needed to up their game. Just think, when Taemin (the one with the blond highlights) joined SM as a trainee at 11, he didn't even have any dance training -- up until then, all his skills were self-taught by watching dancers on TV shows -- and by the time he debuted less than 3 years later in 2008, he was already showing everyone that his skill level was on par with, or even surpassed, many professional dancers who had been dancing for years. That is why Taemin is now considered one of the top two BEST dancers in all of Kpop, voted by his peers and industry experts. (Kai from EXO, who happens to be Taemin's best friend since trainee days, and a fellow member of SuperM, is the other top dancer.) Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. He is also one of the most popular male solo artists. And the fact that the other SHINee members have no problem keeping up with Taemin, just shows why SHINee are one of the top groups. That's just SHINee's natural talent. Plus, Key (the one with the black hair) actually was chosen to become an SM trainee because of his skills as a dancer. He is the SHINee member who is fastest at memorizing choreography. He has a photographic memory, so he only needs to see a dance once and he can replicate it on the spot almost better than the original. He is known as SHINee's dance copy machine. He literally knows everyone's choreography in the Kpop industry. He can fill in as a member of almost any group because he knows their song and choreography just as well, or better, than the actual members. And although, Minho (the one with the goggles) is the main rapper of the group, in fan meetings and concerts when he has a solo stage, he often does dance covers or dance performances because he is also a really good dancer. However, what sets SHINee apart even more as a group, is they also are recognized as some of the best vocalists in the industry. SHINee are referred to as CDINee or CD-eaters, because they sound even better live then their album versions. Even as rookies, SHINee's main vocalists were mentors and vocal coaches to a lot of other singers and trainees, including several members of EXO. (EXO may be considered "Vocal Kings," but SHINee are the original Vocal Kings. Which just goes to show you why they are both SM groups.) They are legends for their live vocals and amazing dancing. The ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they have specifically trained since their debut, to build stamina and endurance, in order to be able to sing live for 3+ hours straight, all while performing these intense choreographies. If you listen to a live performance, you may be shocked, because they sound so perfect even though they are dancing so intensely, but that is why they are so highly respected by everyone. It's a running joke between fans and the members that you can tell when SHINee are lip syncing because they are so bad at it, that is why they avoid it at all costs. Therefore, when you hear SHINee sing, 95% of the time it will be live. Yes, over the years they have become better at lip syncing then they used to be, but now they have gained the reputation as the group that always sings live, so unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, what you will hear is live vocals. Other Idols and audio sound technicians, etc. who have witnessed SHINee performing live are always blown away, because in the parts of the song where most singers would take a break and rely on the backing track vocals to cover their voices so they can catch their breath and recover, this is where the SHINee members actually ramp it up and become their most powerful. Therefore, if you listen to a live performance of "Juice" you will discover that SHINee sounds exactly the same, even while dancing full out like this. I guarantee, that if you were to listen to them singing a cappella while performing this high energy choreography, they would sound just as flawless. That is why, even as rookies, senior artists would stop what they were doing to watch SHINee's rehearsals on music programs because SHINee's vocal talent is that impressive. When SHINee debuted, they were the first group to demonstrate how it was possible to sing live while performing complex choreography and still maintain stable vocals. Before SHINee, the thought within the industry was that it wasn't possible to sing live and also perform high intensity choreography at the same time. At that time, most groups would either sing live and have simple choreography, or they would have crazy cool choreography, but lip sync to their recorded vocals. SHINee completely changed the Kpop industry and upped the standard of what it meant to be an idol singer. SHINee live is unmatched. It's literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard that all other groups strive to reach, and SHINee are the vocalists that all other artists try to emulate. SM really hit gold when they formed this group, and I don't think it can ever be duplicated in the same way again. You really need to check out some of their live concert performances, because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They also have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. Nothing compares to SHINee live. Their MVs are good, but those same songs sung live are on a whole other level. In their "Juice" performance video Onew -- their leader, and one of the best vocalists in the industry -- was unable to participate in this performance, so all the members took on his parts in the song. However, if you listen to the album, you will be able to hear Onew's voice and he creates an even richer feel to the song. There's been a lot of debate whether "Hard" or "Juice" should be the lead/title track on SHINee''s Hard album -- SM wanted "Juice," to be the lead track, but the SHINee members insisting on "Hard." At this point, I think we all just need to trust SHINee knows what they are doing. Over the years, we have seen them prove time and time again, that they know how to be one step ahead of the trend. For example, Jonghyun (SHINee's main vocalist, who passed away more than 5 years ago now) wanted his song "Deja Boo" to be his solo debut song, but SM insisted on his song "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)." And in the end, Jonghyun was right. "Deja Boo" became so popular as a b-side track that it had SM scrambling to find ways to showcase the song, proving Jonghyun knew what he was doing. And, "View" -- which is one of SHINee's most popular songs -- wasn't even a contender for SHINee's Odd album, until Jonghyun rewrote the lyrics and the members pushed SM to make it their lead track. In their recent reality show, Key, Minho and Taemin revealed that they all spent a lot of extra time making sure everything felt right with their Hard album. They wanted to release the album on May 25, the day of their 15th anniversary, but things needed work. For example, there was a section in "Hard" that needed some tweaking. So, instead of just rushing to get it done, they took the time to make it perfect. Key said that when they heard the final version of "Hard" -- which was sent to them while they were in Japan filming "The Feeling" MV -- his legs went numb and he knew "Hard" had to be their title track. LOL If you watch the full "SHINee's - 15m Roadtrip comeback show," you will get to see new performances of some of their classic hits, as well as a mini fan concert where they also perform their new songs, "Hard," "Juice" and "10X" live. And in between it all, you get to see Key, Minho and Taemin on a roadtrip camping excursion as they look back on their 15 year career. It was really fun. I encourage everyone to check it out. And to see them preparing for this comeback, watch Taemin and his manager Nam Eui Soo on The Manager TV show that aired recently. You will get to see Onew, Key, Minho and Taemin in the dance studio practicing.

The thing with SHINee is that they are genuin passionate in all their work and has a tremendous bond with each other. They stay true to themselves and take no popularity for granted, but rather give all their passion 100 % in whatever they do and keep their "feet on the ground" even they are a group with the best dancers in the industry (Taemin #1, and Key), the best vocalists (Onew (and Jonghyun), and hottest idol with unmatched charisma (MInho)-but even as vocalists Taemin, Key and Minho are incredible and along with Onew has a unique tone of voice like no other. Together they make magic with vocals, choreos, stage-present, looks +++ !! ACE of kpop for sure as a group and in their solo work !!

I love a good performance video-ESPECIALLY from SHINee. I imagine there’s not a single soul who, after watching JUICE, could honestly say they didn’t end up THIRSTY-whether that’s for our Five incredibly handsome and talented men themselves OR their impeccable vocals, rapping skills, dancing abilities, fashion sense/styling, and/or performance abilities. Would you believe Kibum/Key had a wrist injury the entire comeback which required him to wear a brace? Bet you couldn’t tell from the performance MV or any other appearance or concert because he made that brace a fricken fashion statement! The Princes are BACK for GOOD! I’m so proud of them. Honestly, Kibum, Minho, & Taemin are doing Jinki & Jjong proud…they’re *killing* it. I pray Jinki knows how much he is loved and that he gets well soon. ♥️ SHINee came back in true SHINee fashion-setting the Standard and breaking boundaries! SHINee’s BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK!!!!!!!

Hace un tiempo me encontre en youtube un video en la que una cantante de Opera decia que el difunto miembro de Shinee Jonghyun habia sido el protagonista de una fuerte discusión en las redes, pues habia personas que no lo consideraban el mejor cantante de SM, que si era otro cantante etc ( ella comprendia que cada fanatico tenga su preferido), el problema surgio cuando, entre cantantes profesionales, (ninguno dijo que fuese mal cantante) encontro que no lo consideraban un buen cantante " tecnico", y entro en la discusion por que ella explicaba en el video, que si era verdad que en ocasiones un cantante en una determinada canción puede dejar la tecnica por el estilo, pero que Jonghyun era lo que la mayoria de los estudiantes de la universidad de canto se pasan años aprendiendo, conocia su voz por fuera, por dentro, al reves..... era capaz de encontrar una determinada nota y cantarla, y aunque era mas conocido por su voz poderosa y sus notas agudas, poseia un dominio del falsete increible, y eso era dificil en un hombre, no cantaba con voz de pecho, o de cabeza, lo hacia en un mix, y tan perfecto que no notabas la diferencia al cambiar de rango. Como dijo el propio Jonghyun ( y ahi todos ) o casi, podemos coincidir, es que el mejor cantante es aquel que es capaz de hacerte "sentir" y trasmitir el sentimiento con la voz, ponia como ejemplo la cancion skeleton flower: cantarla en falsete, aireado y sin que se te apriete la voz sin notar ningun esfuerzo "eso era lo que ella se habia estado entrenando años para hacer", por que se necesita mas aire en los pulmones al cantar de forma tan suave, que cuando sueltas un grito fuerte, Yo solo puedo decir que es uno de los pocos cantantes que es capaz de sursurrarte al oido una canción dulce, en falsete con voz entrecortada ( hecha a proposito) y hacerte soñar, sentir y elevarte al cielo. Hizo un cover de una canción de un canta-autor español, cuando ese cantante la escucho y vio la actuacion en vivo, dejo de cantarla él en sus concientros y su reseña en las redes fue increible. Tambien hizo un cover de los años 70 de alguien llamado Maxwell la canción se llama la mujer que trabaja, tanto le gusto que se fue a Corea a conocerlo y lo lleno de halagos. Como decia la cantante de opera no hay mejor cantante que aquel que te hacer sentir la emoción y los sentimientos y expresarlos con su voz, sin sentir que esta actuando o interpretando,

Se me olvido decir algo importante, y es el tono de voz, hay personas como Onew, el lider , que tiene una voz preciosa y facil de oir, pero una voz preciosa no covierte a nadie en buen cantante ( no es el caso de Onew) pero hay cantante cuya voz resulta rara de oir y eso no los covierte en malos cantantes
