-Hello everyone! I am using a translator, sorry if there are errors. I have a question: I really want to audition for Source Music, but is there a part of Source Music's audition privacy policy that says they can use our information to advertise? I checked the page myself but nowhere did I see that they said or specified that they could use our name, images or videos to post or do anything else. From what I saw, they use this data for evaluation purposes, but I couldn't see the part where they talk about it specifically. I do not want my photos, videos, etc. to be published. I think that apart from the company, people with experience in this can help me solve my doubt. (Source Music's privacy policy is on their official page, you can find it there, or it can also be found on their audition form for those over 14 years of age). I really want to audition but i'm afraid :(

I doubt there are a lot of in person auditions that are held in south american countries. However, online auditions do not lower your chances of being seen. Many of the baby monster forgein members audition online.

@@4d0r33..k4r if you mean foreigners as in nationality than yes any nationality is accepted. However, if you mean ethnicity than only fully asians or mixed asians will actually be accepted

@@kiwiipeachii8980 JYPE and HYBE are both international groups in general (esp hybe). But VCHA is still in the industry and if they make Korean songs then it’s kpop, just like how niziu just made their Korean debut. Now besides them, for sure I know we have Alex (BP Rania), Lana, Samuel, Chantal Videla, and there was a trainee who was mixed (Black and Chinese) but I forgot her name, she also had Black phenotypes so don’t say “she was mixed w Asian so she doesn’t count”. Then finally we have all of Blackswan currently. I’m not saying non-Asian idols are super common, but the industry is evolving. I mean most of the time auditions are open to literally everyone, if they didn’t want non Asians that bad they would say that. And as long as the music is in Korean it shouldn’t matter. People used to be mad when Japanese and Chinese idols debuted back in the day, but now it’s super common.

If you have time please answer it, it will be a huge help 🫂 🤗 •How did Haerin from NewJeans passed her audition, as far as i know she wasn't good at dancing & was ok-ok in singing, then how did she passed her audition?? Doesn't hybe(all sub lable) wants people who are both good at dancing and singing?? Or did i just got some wrong info?😅

We've never seen her audition so we'll never know! Ofc, there are pre-debut videos but that could be well before her audition, giving her time to improve. Best answer: They saw her potential + her visuals
