Our preference of white skin comes from colonization while in east asia it comes from the ancient belief that people with white skin are high class that dont do poor labor work. I think the new generation of Filipinos are slowly starting to embrace our tan skin tho

When I was younger, I really envy those who have white or fair skin because I've been teased and bullied about my brown-ish or what we call "kayumanggi" skin color. But now, I've fully embraced my morena skin color and I'm not affected by those teasings anymore. Not everyone prefers the white skin color, it's just that we were westernized that some people's mindset are like that.

About the adobo issue thing, the video shows the Filipino ingenuity, instead of throwing out the empty ice cream container we recycled and use it for another purpose it's a substitute to a Tupperware, the real ones are pricey.

i don't want to sound rude but that is not what explaining means. you are just translating it in Korean. you should explain it better not half-assing it. for example: explain why is there a public transporation called jeepney, where did it came from, why did us Filipinos use it, etc. the girls are just nodding to your translation and probably are clueless because you are not REALLY explaining it. i bet a lot of Filipinos are trying to explain some here in the comments section but won't actually be read by the producers or the owners of the channel. most reaction vids came from tiktok and won't have explanations or contexts. give some contexts, facts or even trivias to your videos.

The ICE CREAM PART, let me emphasize that it is not about "ADOBO" that should be in the refrigerator just like koreans always have kimchi in their fridge. Those empty ice cream containers are always re-use by filipinos as food storage, actually not just empty ice cream containers but basically anything that cud be reused as for storage or any other use. We don't use classy "TUPPERWARES" but empty ice cream containers. Hope i've explained well. Thanks!

"They don't have natural white skin" let me guess the person who made that video is from luzon who think they're the only filipino living on this island!. He forgot that there are 100+ ethnic group and 180+ languages on this land, which means that we all have different features!. My tausog friends looks like a malaysian or Indonesian and all of them have fare skin (specially the ladys). Samw goes with my cousin's who's a subanen they also have fare skin. 😪
