A brief history of Koreans in Russia. There was like 3 major waves of migration. The first started in the late 18 century when Korea was in decline and eventually got occupied by Japan while Russia was an empire still. The second one is not really a migration, Japan used Koreans as a cheap labor in colonization of Southern Sakhalin, Japan got after 1905 war with Russia. When already USSR got the island back after WW2, most of Koreans chose to remain on the island. And the third wave is North Koreans migrating to USSR during Korean War. Koreans of the 1st and 3rd wave were eventually resettled by the party across the Central Asia where mixed up and scattered along the whole Union, while Sakhalin Koreans remained on the island developing isolated culture from the mainland. You can say there was a 4th wave of migration, when USSR broke up lots of Koreans started leaving newly independent Central Asian republics in favor of Russia, but since this still was the same Soviet Koreans culture, there is no much difference with the ones who were in Russia already except they may be more accustomed to the Central Asian culture.

Omg love this! I’m an Asian girl but have grown up around Russians my whole life lol like my group of friends just adopted me😂 I love the pelmeni I think there are different fillings you can get. One of my favorite things is piroshki with cabbage inside. And their desserts are fire, you need to try rogaliki, halvah, peach cookies and birds milk cake! 🤍

Try Romanian traditional food like : sarmale, mici, varza călită. In english they are : cabbage rolls, mici ( i don t think they have an english name) they are technically pork meat kinda ) and stewed cabbage. You won’t regret ❤ love from Romania ❤

dont take it bad but its not potato salad it is mayo salad that has veggies with chicken and some pickles and also u should try some georgian food their very good i promise try:khinkali(it is same dumpling like the one in video but with some more meat and soup) lobio(beans in a pot) kubdari (beef inside a bread)and georgian traditional desert that soldiers used to take in war churchkhela (i dont know how to explain what it is but its very yummy )⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hello gorgeouses, if you have a chance try a bulgarian traditional food like: tarator ( yogurt with cucumber) , moussaka, kiselo mlyako ( bulgarian yogurt), banitsa, They"re the best. But we had a lot of stuff and food. We also have sweets like baklava, cake garash, and most popular is our lokum with bulgarian roses. Love from Bulgaria!

It’s just that in Russia they eat pork/veal/lamb/rabbit and so on, but chicken is the main thing~ Borscht is made from beets so that everyone knows that it is NOT tomato paste, it is red because it contains vegetables.😅✌️🇷🇺
