I live in the California Desert. I was blessed w/good skin but now in my 70's, a few dark spots are appearing on my face along with milia under my eyes and around my lips. I have normal to dry skin. Since Covid I've turned into a skincare junkie. So glad I discovered your channel recently. I've already purchased several items based on your recommendations.

Combination/oily skin here! Isntree green tea refreshing toner, Missha Vita C line, Benton Green tea line, Missha artemisia cleanser and essence; and Adapalene gel. These work wonders for me. Add the BOJ ginseng water essence for the win!

Hi! Absolutely looove your videos and they helped choose amazing new adds to my skincare routine! I'm dry skin with Melasma. I'm turning 39 and at 36 my skin went from combination to dry. . Skin concerns , are skin barrier hydration hyperpigmentation and Melasma, and fine línea. Melasma is the toughest of all the skin concerns. I have been building a skincare routine to control melasma and I'm finally seeing results after almost 20 years. It didn't went away but it faded a lot . my skin is quite fair.

Hello from Canada! I was set to send you a message this week asking if you could please do a video dedicated for people with dry skin. I am 66 years young and I have rosacea flares occasionally. I have very very sensitive skin and I also adore Korean skin care! Over the past 10 years, I have added a french brand, Avene Cicalfate Cream. This has been a lifesaver. Canadian winters can be very cold and dry. I use this cream every day and it immediately calms and protects my skin. I can't say enough about this! Thanks again for doing this video! Love love love your videos! 💗

So because my concerns are both hyperpigmentation and dry skin concerns ( also live in a more hot climate - Portugal) my recommendations are all around peptides, ceramides, niacinamide, vit C, Gluthatione, tranexamic acid, retinol, cica, black tea and fermented ingredients, galactomytes (I am aware that my skincare routine is quite lengthy but because of melasma I've became a bit self-conscious as there was a time that was really noticeable and I have in both sides of my face and it didn't even disappeared with foundation and makeup it's really looked like death both of my cheeks we're a bit Dusty. So after many years of trial and ever it seems that I have found something that is working for me.❤

I have ageing, rosacea prone, combination skin that leans dry and dehydrated. My skin loves a watery toner, rich ceramide moisturiser, azelaic acid and bifida. The manyo bifida serum is amazing for maintaining the skin barrier and supporting my anti ageing goals. Building up tolerance to retinoids (specifically tretinoin) has also done wonders for my skin glow!

My skin type is combination, dehydrated in the T-zone and extremely reactive to anything I put on it. As for the Korean products I use, I really like the toner from Haruharu with black rice extract, I use a lot of serums from Farmstay (with peptides, niacinamide, pomegranate, aloe vera, etc.), and I really like face creams emulsions this summer from Farmstay (with snail mucin and peptides), Etude House, Mizon, Holika Holika (with propolis). As face face creams, I like the ones from Bergamo (with ginseng, caviar, propolis). And as for the number of steps in my routine, it depends on how hot, humid or dry the environment is. In winter, they go up to 7 - 8 steps, in summer sometimes even a single care step. I appreciate your videos very much for the information you give us. You are doing an excellent job.

Dehydrated sensitive reactive skin. I need lighter hydration. I really love beauty of joseon. The cleansing balm. The green face wash. All of the serums. The dynasty cream is a perfect moisturizer for me. I have tried so much of Korean skin care. But the ones I always go back to is beauty of joseon. The rest tend to be try it once and then I am underwhelmed.

Hi Rob, this was a great video! I have normal to dry skin that every so often decides its going to be not normal and just plain dry! Although Im aware that most products these days have Hyaluronic acid in them, I still use my Hada Labo serum straight after cleansing while the skin is still damp. I stopped using it for a wee while and could really see the difference so I know its working and my skin needs it. Ive been using, and loving, the Torriden moisturizer you recommended, morning and night ( after serums, vit c and retinal). However, at night I also mix in Castor Oil with the moisturizer as I sleep in very drying airconditioning. This solves the problem of skin drying out perfectly! I would love to see more videos like this. Have a great day Rob x

They are so deeply moisturizing and I like having both on hand depending on my needs for the day. I use a lot of K Beauty but don't sleep on J Beauty! One of my favorite under makeup sunscreens is from Canmake, and Hada Labo makes an amazing hydrating cleanser and toner.

Yeah I have heard the same but I cant only find Vegreen who use it as an ingredient which is a shame.. love x

That's so funny I just buy the serum from Skin 1004 and actually I was planning to buy the cellmazing cream from Torriden but I was looking at the best option I could get so my choice was a good one .Your video came out at the perfect right moment. My skin is prone to redness and irritation , sometimes tend to be oily but a bit more dry after I enter the 40's . I realize that sometimes specially in the afternoon my wrinkles looks worst because I simply lack hydratation.

I lean towards combo, dry but acne prone- the worst of them all 😢 Anything meant for dry skin is too heavy and ones for acne are not moisturizing enough. So always tricky finding something balanced.

Thank you so much for sharing your skin type and I totally agree it can be so hard to find the right balance xx

When I searched for a ceramide serum I was looking at RNW and Ample:n but ultimately decided on Ample:n because there were some questions around the cruelty-free status of RNW. My routine for dryness: Tiam B5 Toner, TO amino acids, Ample:n ceramide shot and MAS moisturizer ❤ But since I have combo skin I only need to bust this out in the worst of winter luckily 😂

Thats interesting as I checked the info on RNW re them being cruelty free and they seemed ok but you have got me thinking so I am going to go back and double triple check now.. thank you so much for the heads up and I hope all is wonderful with you x
