The “unique” uniform is a traditional Greek military uniform called fustanella which is now only worn by the Presidential Guard. It’s a ceremonial uniform, it wouldn’t be worn anywhere else.

I mean, the absurdity of seeing a regiment wearing that uniform in actual combat could potentially work as a bafflement tactic to confuse the enemy.

That mortar round misfiring is actually safe and will not explode. Mortar rounds have an arming distance and wouldn’t explode if it didn’t reach such distance. And the tip of the mortar had to hit something really hard and the only way that would happen is either it was traveling really fast or someone decided to smash it to the ground. And the grenade thing, they don’t explode like napalm like what you usually see in movies. It throws shrapnels at you and that’s what injures/kills you.

Imagine the mortar was instant fire when activated,like they lit it and then it jumps and lands on someone’s balls

Just looking at their faces you can kinda tell who's served and who hasn't.. One looks like he'll choke you out by accident during a hug while the other looks like he'll be the one crying while hugging you.

The two will be military, one is already and the other will be, in Korea it is mandatory from a certain age onwards, the fact that he is cute and delicate does not diminish his strength or capacity.

This Korean soldier is built like a lot of my military friends, the men…LOL I am glad to see this because most people do not see that Korean soldiers, and others do work their bodies up, just not over exaggerated like some soldiers. This soldier is built like a majority of the soldiers I know.

I just assumed these were north Korean soldiers and thought, 'wow. They've really modernized their uniform and the man on the left must be a recent defector.' Then i saw the title again.😂

4:36 is greek traditional military uniform( In our times is just ceremonial) I am Greek! 😊 This uniform is part of our history. From 1453 to 1821 Greece was under Ottoman empire! Slaves! 1821 was when Greek decided to rebel. The skirt has 400 layers as many as the years of slavery. Then we manage to free our selves.But the whole uniform was warm enough to keep the soldiers who where fighting on the snowy mountain range of Pindos warm. The shoes are called "tsaruhia" (τσαρούχια) and are extremely smooth from under. So it is extremely easy for someone to slip. Especially in marble.The ones who were this uniform are called "tsoliades"(τσολιάδες)😋💜

Anytime I see a soldier with split pants I remember a perimeter patrol in Iraq. Walking with night vision on with my patrol buddy turned to say something to him and right out of a cartoon he just vanished from view. Stepped in an open manhole... was fine but tore the ass out of his pants.

From what I heard, if a mis-fire happens, it's got a failsafe of a time to get away. Most grenades from I probably hear are not actually live but make POP. I do understand why there's ... a safe guy behind the trainee if throw is failed
