Hi IslandGal, :) You can see a variety of neatly packed dried fish snacks at Costco Korea or E-Mart Traders. However, it won't be a relatively cheap purchase. There is a traditional market where you can buy dried seafood snacks at the cheapest price in Seoul. It's the 'Jung-bu Dried Fish Market'. Please see the link to Google Maps below. Garak Market is the cheapest place in Seoul for vegetables and fruits, but the market is too large and most of the stores are wholesale, and the It's quite far from the center of Seoul. So, I recommend Cheong-ryang ri Market, where there are many shops of small merchants. You can buy fruits and vegetables at an affordable price that can't be compared to a large supermarket! Hi, Jaijo. In fact, Korea is one of the most expensive places in the world. ㅜㅜ Here are some ways to recommend Korea. 1. Reserve an Airbnb with a kitchen. 2. Korean traditional markets have the cheapest food ingredients. All ingredients can be most efficiently reduced by 30% compared to supermarkets if purchased at the traditional Korean market. 3. If it is difficult to cook with Korean ingredients, if you buy and cook meal kits at supermarkets such as E-Mart and Lotte Mart, you can reduce costs by 50% compared to restaurants. 4. In Seoul, very cheap restaurants can solve a meal with a budget of 7,000 won to 8,000 won per meal. But they are very local restaurants, so they may not your flavor. 5. If you use a convenience store, you can eat a little cheaper than in a regular restaurant, but it is difficult to expect healthy one. I hope it helps your trip :)
