Sorry but 'loving' the baby is just not enough, child care and providing for the child is no joke, hoping that they have a steady source of income for that but since they're so young;their parents will obviously have to support their child

Just keep working on your relationship and it will all workout best of luck to you both ❤️

Yes America in general is more excepting of things like that most of the time but it really depends on the family and the financial state you’re in especially if you’re very young…in these videos everyone was adults and probably married and have the money to support a child, I’m sure they planned the baby…so don’t feel bad about your reaction to your pregnancy because given the circumstances that you guys were in you reacted appropriately…things happen and all you can do is keep going and grow.I’m sure you two are amazing parents, you seem very mature and smart. Much love💛

@@ladyhoneycrisp8558 I'm not sure, she just told me they don't have baby showers. One of the things that has always bother me about the Korean culture is, once a woman gives birth, she is no longer referred to by her name but by the baby's name followed by mother (but that's non of my business).

Oh this video really made me feel for the two of them more than anything. It’s natural to be nervous. Even having my first baby at 24 was scary, you never feel totally ready, but once you hold your baby in your arms your natural instincts kick in. The nickname they gave their baby is so sweet! I know it's scary, & you two _will_ make mistakes. It doesn't have anything to do will your ages, either. All parents make mistakes. Be patient with yourselves & each other. Just because you two might parent differently (which you _will,_ in many areas), it doesn't necessarily mean the other is wrong. Be prepared for the weaknesses in your relationship to become more evident after the baby is born. Don't ignore them. Find ways to fix the cracks that appear &/widen. Along with the basics (food, shelter, etc.), your child needs you to respect one another, to show patience with one another, & help the other to stand when they're struggling. Your relationship will need care & attention just like your baby will.

I think you both having those concerns are going to make you both good parents. I’m sure everyone in those videos have a bit of concern about their unborn child, because who wouldn’t bringing a new life into the world, but there are people who ignore those concerns instead of validating them and understanding where they’re coming from, and I don’t think that’s the best approach. I think that you guys are doing great listening to your concerns, if that makes sense. you’re open with people (us) that you have concerns and worries and we can all tell you’re actively doing your best to read up and learn everything you can to help you and your baby out. those concerns are there for a reason, but they can easily get a little out of control, as with any thoughts. I think the best thing anyone can do is to learn and prepare as much as they can/want/feel they need, and think through those thoughts. identifying the core reason for certain concerns and then a rational way to not let that happen/curb that behaviour is really helpful for me. keep it really simple. you don’t have to think about everything at once, ya know? you’ve already talked about attachment and bond to a baby and that’s far more than anyone of my family members and such know about. trust me, it might be hectic and stressful, but as long as you’re there emotionally for your child, that’s most important.

You are young but you can do this. Just love each other and your baby with all you have, and protect each other. Those that might not have supported you, will come around. Speaking as a mother, if my 17 year old child was pregnant or got someone pregnant, it’s a scary thing for a parent. Sometimes, us as parents react certain ways because of fear. You always want the best for your children, and you don’t want to see them struggle, or have hard times. But your parents love you, just give it time, show them that they raised good children that take on responsibilities, and do the right thing. It’s hard at first, but it will get easier, you can do this! No matter how old you are, it’s difficult at first but you get used to it. It’s the fear of the unknown, having children changes you, hopefully for the better, keep fighting💕

It's okay to feel what you're feeling. My now husband and I were not ready for our son. We didn't plan him, and to be brutally honest, we did not feel any joy in the beginning of my pregnancy and even towards the end, we had only just started to warm up to the idea. I felt guilty for being angry, sad, scared, and upset when I thought about how some people try for YEARS to have a child and I managed to conceive my son on the first try that wasn't even a TRY. Because he is a Birth Control baby. I also envied the moms and couples who WANTED children and actually enjoyed the thought. There were no joyous reactions when we told our parents. Yeah, we were 26/27 but it was a SHOCK. It's still scary even at that age. We wrestled with what to do for a long time. It's difficult, but ultimately, as your child grows up so will your feelings. My husbands parents are Chinese BTW so that was even HARDER.

Don't think America is "better" at this. They just showed you good things. I got pregnant when I was 17 years old with my first child, 1982. I was promptly yelled at, taken to the court where I was emancipated (legally on my own), and kicked out of the house. I ended up getting married to the guy who got me pregnant, we had broke up before I found out, 5 months along, and was married 11 years in hell. He was very abusive and broke my nose and other things. So yeah.... that video shows you the "planned ones." I do not think America is more accepting either. My daughters friend go pregnant and she was shamed and bullied out of school and this was in 2016. Some things never change.
