I was an A1C in the 335th Fighter Interceptor Sq. at K-14 Korea on Sept 21, 1953 and saw a plane landing from the wrong end of the runway. Didn't know at that time it was a MIG 15 but found out a few minutes later. Like every one else I got out my camera to get a shot of History, but.....the APs were required to open all cameras and expose the film. A few got through that had the small b/w 16mm spy camera smaller than a Bic lighter.

according to Chuck Yeager and Tom Collins who flew the captured MIG , it was a very tricky planne, they had just one (big) advantage, they flew 10.000 feet higher than the F86....and hight is life !

I can imagine the MIG15 had an initial diving advantage with cannons blasting at an F86 before they ran away across the Yalu River into China.
