Korea needs this to help boost their population. Create a path for citizenship, lower your cost of living, and grow as a nation. From my understanding, S. Korea is one of the only developed nations that doesnt already allow this. Another step forward for this fast growing nation--I just hope the people agree.

Can you please tell is it Hard to find a job in hotel industry as a foreigner

Based on my recent travel to Seoul, please hire Koreans who speak in English at least in tourist places like myeongdong Namsan tower, Lotte world, etc. As a foreigner communication becomes really difficult. And we cannot learn an entire language for a 10 days trip. While leaving from the Namsan Cable car the staff kept on giving all instructions in Korean. Was dumbsturck whether to focus on what they say or just follow hand signals. Due to the cities well planned infrastructure and its integration with Naver Maps, it was not difficult navigating the city. But everytime when you had to interact with someone, it was an uphill task.

OR... the hotels cou,ld actually pay a living wage to Koreans and that might help the MASSIVE youth (19-29) unemployment of 20%. Perhaps the hotels could give benefits and that might stop the RAMPANT population decline of .7. For every 100 current Koreans.... there will be only 4 great grand-children.. Hiring foreign workers is NOT the answer. Raising the quality of life for Korean young people is. The only thing an increase of foreigners will do.... is make the current population of young people angry and xenophobic. Currently the red party can only control the youth vote based on gender politics, since that is fading, maybe they are seeking to bring in some xenophobia.... something they have tried before, but since only 4% of Korea is foreigner, it is very hard.

The evidence from studies on social cohesion show clearly that in-group and out-group trust both break down as immigration increases. And it doesn't take much immigration to break down social cohesion.

The internet, where people that don’t know what they’re talking about try to sound like “ experts”
