Again, thank you for sharing your culture with me.. I think five days to share love is great ❤

Fun video! And your makeup looks super pretty.

The frosting looks nicer if you pipe it on instead of spackling it on. And you can use different piping tips to make neat little waves in the frosting. I watch British Baking Show. Not much of a baker myself

I think everyone should celebrate their partners as much as possible. Its just when Tressuni lists them out, then it looks overwhelming😂😂❤

Have you tried removing the bottom half of the cupcake and sandwiching it on top of the frosting? Game changer. I tried this yesterday and it's very good.

If you don't have a piping kit, you can just scoop it into a ziploc bag and jam it down into the corner, snip the corner off about a quarter inch and squeeze it out.

I didn't like all those celebrations and holidays. I didn't even like birthdays, and worked through Christmas. Now I'm in my 50s, I regret I didn't celebrate or enjoy those special days….. I Dont have much memories when I think back. I don’t need to follow social custom blindly, but from now on I want to try to make every special day and everyday memorable. At the end of my life, I want to think back and remember a lot of special days with my loved ones.

Love how you keep it real with the cupcake containers vs not. Lol Pepero Day sounds like a scam! A national holiday for people to buy your products? Hmnnn...

I don't know I think making anyone wait a month for getting a response after confessing your feelings is wayy to long. I've confessed my feelings before and the time between confessing and getting a response is the absolute worst. I can't imagine having to wait a whole month for that

I’ve heard of these, but never thought of the total number! 😄 I sympathize though - daughter’s birthday is Oct. 1, then hubby is Oct. 5 (with his mom and sister at 10/4 & 10/3)! So, super expensive October… then Thanksgiving… then Christmas (by then we’re broke!) Then Valentine’s, then our anniversary March 16! 🤦🏻♀️ So we’re tapped out for six months, but we’re back in time for my birthday in August! 😁 Moral of the story to any youngsters out there-plan gift holidays wisely! 😂❤

I really think there are too many days of celebrations especially for those who hate celebrating birthdays like me :\ . But the idea of encouraging women to take the initiative in the relationship is very interesting in addition to empowering them.

Honorable mention: Black Day, or consolation day on April 14th - a day to be sad that no one gave you a valentine's present or confession and eat jjajjangmyeon. 🥰🥰

Theres so many of these traditions in america too but a little different. We have sweetest day which i didnt even know about until i was like 11 and i still dont really know when it is or what its for. And most schools have a "sadie hawkins" dance where the girls ask the guys. So the two cultures actually arent too different after all
@yourlittleinsomniac53695 ай бұрын
Are you calling Valentine's Day "Sweetest Day" because otherwise I have no idea what holiday you're referring to.
@sama58675 ай бұрын
@@yourlittleinsomniac5369 apparently it started in ohio in 1922 and it is for showing gratitude or kindness to people and it is the third saturday of october. Didnt know any of this before googling it just now

Girl you look so pretty here 💖 So interesting how valentines is gendered in korea instead of celebrating together…is this perhaps capitalism?? 3-4 holidays to sell sweets and pepero instead of just 1 🤨

Thank you! 🥹 that is the conspiracy theory haha give people more days and reasons to spend 💰

It is a holiday when you have a romantic partner . But, even in the U.S. this Valentyne day being cooled off. Why? Because there are a lot of lonely, I'll people, and those just struggle to survive. Don't forget about them.
@yj86415 ай бұрын
For those lonely singles, there is the Black Day! The lonely and sad Korean singles get together and eat the black noodle (jjajangmyen) to mourn together... In black…. It's April 14th. So if you didn't get lucky in Feb or March you have the April celebration (?) 😂

I don't care for such celebrations at all. It takes all the spontaneity out of it, and it even can become a performative, empty, obligatory gesture.
