A round of applause to the ballerinas for the effort, but being Brazilian who loves samba and knowing how to do the basic movements this is too much different from what I actually see people dancing here. You have to see a native Brazilian passist dancing the authentic samba. You'll notice the difference.

@@VitóriaDuarte-0 Eu achei bem legal o fato de q o samba chegou em outros países, mas, os passos são completamente diferentes, fora que, as moças parecem não saber dançar muito bem. Acho q isso seria uma variação do samba, não o samba em sua forma originária daqui. Já cheguei a ver japonesas sambando, e eu fiquei muito surpreso, pois, era idêntico, até as vestimentas!

Yess but from an actual Dominican! They keep doing these cultural dances and I’m not saying other people from other cultures can’t do it but it usually ends up being majorly white guests they invite representing us and it’s not always as authentic

I knew I wasn't the only one who ran to the comments to see what Brazilian viewers were saying about the dancers' performance ahaha they did a great job ! I just definitely could tell there was something a lil different going on, and I'm not even super familiar w/ traditional samba ! This was a lot of fun to watch though ahah They all did great , and the dancers were awesome. Its great to see culture, dance, and language intertwine so much. Love taking my mind off of the terrible things going on and hate based violence happening seemingly all the time by watching stuff like this and reminding myself of where the hope comes from !

well, I'm seeing a lot of comments saying that it's not the real samba and stuff...yes, it's a little bit different from the brazilian samba, but I have to remember you guys that even if it's not the original Brazilian style, it's not exclusive to us and may have some changes depending on who or where is been danced, the same way we dance a lot of different dance styles from all over the world.
