Nice reflection: "you cannot do the drag race if you don't love yourself" - if you love yourself then you have confidence - having good self-image is important because you have confidence to project yourself.

Really love Lady Morgana in Drag Race Philippines, she's funny and kind, also a great lipsync. Eva is my pick for the crown, she didn't win the prize but the fact that they made it to the show, they're all winners..

Drag is a thing in the PH, but I wouldn't say it's big since we're still mostly surrounded by conservatives. RuPaul's Drag Race in the US is still the biggest and most popular drag show. Drag Race PH is just a spin-off of RuPaul's Drag Race.

well, Drag is mostly famous around Manila and I always see people in drag out and about we just call it being "pagirl". Drag Shows are also very big in Makati, Comedy Bars always do Drag and Impersonation Shows. O bar is the most famous one because it is a gay bar but straight bars often do drag shows to

Drag has become popular in many parts of the Philippines, but some of the most well-known drag scenes are in the cities of Manila, Cebu, and Davao. These cities have a vibrant LGBTQ+ community and host many drag events and shows throughout the year.

Girl nooo. Have you seen the drag artist performing Taylor Swift songs? Drag is becoming mainstream in the Philippines. A lot of Drag Race PH queens are now appearing on movies, TV shows, and commercials.

The channel shouldve introduced a background of drag in the country. It wouldve been better if the promotionals, runways, and lip syncs were shown in all video format rather than photos.

Drag culture here in the Philippines has a complicated and saddening history. For a long time, drag queens have been alienated, ridiculed, and sometimes even underpaid for their performances. That's why I feel like this video was produced without much care and sensitivity to the Filipino drag culture. It is so sad to hear these Koreans through the subtitles refer to our drag queens using gender pronouns "he/him/his" without considering the actual gender pronouns of the queens. Also, saying that the queens are "guys cross-dressing/wearing make-up as girls" is outright careless because being LGBTQ+ is not a gimmick nor a phase. Many people not only in the Philippines but also globally are getting killed because of their being LGBTQ+. Your viewers might get the wrong idea, so please read up more and do better next time. You already got it right in accepting diversity, so thank you for that.

all that just to complain about them being misgendered in this video. I really read the whole thing and I thought you put some educational stuff in there.

Nah most queens don't put queen in their names
@reinebautistamercado4286 Жыл бұрын
You keep misgendering the queens. Drag queens are "she". When they're not showing in drag, then use their preferred pronouns. It's not the Koreans who misgendered them. It's whoever put the subtitles. Also, the lack of viewpoint of the men about some of the queens is suspicious.😂
