In Malaysia, we have different types of traditional clothes based on the different ethnicities. But the major ones are Malays, Chinese, Indian, Borneos and a lot more.. So basically i would say we have a lot of traditional clothes and you are free to try all of it. So please do visit Malaysia❤

It was not a Sri Lankan traditional dress, not Sinhalese or Tamil. I guess she modernized it for the tiktok. Now most of girls usually wear modernized or somewhat changed traditional dresses (especially the upper garment/as we call it 'saree jacket' ) for occasions, not the traditional dress.

We have Baro’t Saya, Kimona, Balintawak dress, etc. There are also Indigenous clothes (my fav is Igorot clothes) and pre-colonial clothes (I prefer pre-colonial Visayan and Yakan). Filipiniana is the most accessible, it’s also cheaper and more easy to wear, so the majority will only buy that. Most of us atleast have one Filipiniana for female and Barong for male, used for formal occasions. 4:58 That’s a Filipiniana in Kimona at Patadyong style.
