Lost over 100lb. Started losing weight 6 months before covid. Had some results. During covid I had nothing but time to learn about nutrition and exercise. Lost the remaining 70ish lb. Once the gyms opened, started putting on muscel. Losing weight is simple. Its just consistency that people find difficult.

@@justsomerandomguy7693 I found fun protien rich meals to make. Game-ified hitting my caloric goals each day. And genuinely started falling In love with working out and seeing progress. Consistency is key. Make it a habit like brushing your teeth, just go after work. Even if you don't feel like it, atleast get to the gym. Leave after walking in the doors if you want. The saggy skin can be removed by plastic surgery. Something like a tummy tuck. The scars will remain but will be faint.
@louisejohnson60573 жыл бұрын
A painful, dangerous, and in most cases, expensive surgery, unfortunately. The more skin, the bigger the issues. From what I understand, it's the fact that our biggest organ, the skin, bleeds so easily, and is prone to infections. It's a serious decision to be made after a good amount of research. Happy Holidays!

I am 5' 1", I'm a female and in September I was 209.8 lbs (obese). Started working out...now I'm in the mid 170s and I'm truly enjoying workouts. I'm on a diet but it isn't that restrictive because I've found ways to cook incredibly tasty, hearty and healthy food. It helps that my aunt, uncle and cousin are a huge support to me. I live with them after leaving my parents' home because I simply couldn't take my dad's abuse and loathing. Best decision I've ever made. Good luck and all the best to all you beautiful people out there. Here's to bettering our qualities of life.

While I don't think any of you ladies need to go on a diet, I understand that Korea has different standards for body image so I'll drop a little something here. The best way to lose weight is regular exercise and portion control. Developing and maintaining muscle is crucial for fat burn. And portion control doesn't mean eat next to nothing. Get into the habit of eating several small meals and quick (relatively healthy) snacks in between. Don't skip meals, either, that just makes your body run slower, produce less energy and leaves it more inclined to hold on to any calories you give it, making weight loss harder. Best of luck to you.

something that really helped me regulate my diet & start losing weight is not eating anything after dinner. my biggest problem was binge eating at night bc i'd eat nothing during the day (this is how you gain weight faster btw, starving yourself makes you gain more weight when you do eat). If you do get hungry at night, drink some water (it sounds cliche but keeping hydrated is super important)

There is something very impressive about the dedication some people go through to lose (and sometimes gain) weight. I'm the type of guy who can eat everything without affecting my weight. Sometimes I lose or gain a bit more for no reason as my diet is always the same. However, I am always sort of near the ideal for my height so I'm never too concerned. My body just does whatever it wants and doesn't seem phased by what I eat or not so I can't imagine what I would do if I suddenly had massive weight gains.

When I was young I always thought I looked good. then I hit my 30s, and looked like an egg1 I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, and medicated. I lost 20.4 kg in a month! I looked pretty good at that time! Then I went on a strict juice fast for 10 days and lost 7 kg more! My work is very physical, so I don't go to the gym. But I was blessed to have been diagnosed, and to have discovered juice fasts! I never went through anything like these wonderful people have.

OSSC ladies, be glad you have Asian genetics which seems to be an advantage when it comes to size. Most people want to blame our American diet for weight problems and it certainly has a lot of blame, but here is my observation. I am the oldest of five siblings, I am 5"8" and 153 pounds, the heaviest of the first three siblings and I have stayed at this weight for decades . Three of us are the same we could eat all day long and not gain weight. My two youngest siblings have a different father who was over 6' 4" and 215 pounds. We all sat at the same table eating the same food cooked by the same mother who is small and the two youngest have weight issues, one weighing over 275 pounds. In America we have a lot of guys who are muscled up and don't go to a gym and the same for women, go figure. Now we have the U.S. media pulling one of it's stunts and tryin to normalize being over weight with advertising which in my opinion is a big health mistake.

16 “For God so loved the world,[i] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
