Ginataan is so delicious. Requires a lot of chopping since there are different root vegetables plus the saba and the sago pearls. Then you also need to grate the coconut to extract the coconut milk. We do eat this during Holy Week.

In our Cebu binignit there is no gluttonous rice but rather a "landang". To add to the aroma and taste we put jackfruit or langka. When getting the coconut milk dont throw it but have a second that you can use to boil and soften the ingredients.
