Foodie Day in Koreatown Los Angeles!
We started our day at Sun Nong Dan. A popular restaurant that’s open 24/7 that serves a popular Korean braised beef short rib stew. We ordered a medium size, mild spice, Koh Galbi Jjim. It comes served in a bubbling cauldron full of short ribs, back ribs, ox tails, veggies, rice sticks, and melted cheese on top. Amazingly delicious!!
Our second stop was at the Dumpling House. This place specializes in handmade dumplings and noodles. We ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup, pan-fried dumplings with ground pork and chives, and vegetable spring rolls. We both enjoyed the handmade noodles and dumplings, both having the perfect amount of chew to them.
For our third and final stop in our Koreatown foodie adventure, we visited Drips & Swirls. They specialize in unique flavored soft serve made with 100 percent real milk along with charcoal cones made fresh daily. We tried their Charcoal Toasted Rice and Captain Crunch soft serves in charcoal cones. Wow! The most creamiest and delicious soft serves we’ve ever had!
There’s a ton of eating options in Koreatown and we only scratched the surface with these three places. What a fun Foodie Day!
