Most Asian nations like korea do way better job of keeping their streets cleaned compared to the USA. IN Japan citizens will clean up sidewalks as part of their duty s a citizen in the area for example

I’m from Toronto Canada and it’s exactly like this with drugs everywhere and illegal business all over the streets. Reminds me of NYC and LA. From experience, these places aren’t always safe.

Im a people-watccher lol walking around in the streets of Korea during the evening/night would've been so much fun to do. When I lived in Stockholm in Sweden, me and a group of friends used to do it almost every weekend. Just head out into the city and walk among the party people.
