Capone is worth viewing if you have a group, lots of beer around and are in the mood for "so bad, it's hilarious" cinema I was watching with my brother and we could not stop laughing every time Tom Hardy started mumbling and when the infamous "shitting pants in FBI interview" bit happened....we lost it. It's such a fascinating bad movie.

there was a reboot of fantasy island in the late 90s with Malcolm McDowell that was awesome. 80% of the guests fantasies were used to teach them a lesson. There was an episode with Louise Fletcher (original Nurse Ratchet) where she's there with her husband for his fantasy, and Roarke teaches her ballroom dancing. it's one of my favorite story arcs from either run of fantasy island.

It had the potential to be a decent remake (I haven’t seen the original even though I worship Nicolas Cage), but it wastes it on a generic story with no direction. It waste some good actors like Jessica Rothe (tree from Happy Death Day) along with other character actors with just bland acting. Nothing of note and just uses 80s songs just because it’s the 80s. It’s a musical for no reason. If it had original music from Cyndi Lauper or someone like that, then it would have been decent.

That OJ movie....I think it’s loosely (or not so loosely, haven’t seen the movie) based off “real events” . Years ago I was watching a show about serial killers, about to turn it off but saw a story based off some guy they called the “cowboy killer “ ( I think that was the name). At the end of the story they basically said “ BTW, he confessed to killing Nicole Brown Simpson because OJ wanted him too”. His family totally believed he did it because he apparently did do work on her home and he was a serial killer, but I think the angle was investigated and they determined he didn’t. Weird that someone decided to make a movie about it . Must have watched what I watched😳.

But a a whole movement have been speaking out against that movie and absolutely despise but , at feels like the media broadcast the so called salaciousness of it , and the outrage of it was either not amplified or downright scoffed at, especially the author ( who needs to be smacked in the face).
